Their squad is at least as good as Watford's and Southampton's and is better than the promoted sides, Brighton and Burnley IMO.

I'm sure a foreign manager would have been criticised by now but of course, the man who for all his vast experience has never won a single trophy in his own country and was one of Englands worst ever managers just seems to escape scrutiny - it's baffling.

They did finish midtable though - 11th on goal difference  two seasons ago, 12th last season. They were closer to Arsenal than they were to Swansea.
