Joining the ranks of married people again. Got married last week after 7 1/2 years single. During that time had periods of industrial level dating every other night almost including skanks from 50 miles around and a couple of serious relationships, but finally settled on an awesome lady and we have just moved in together with her two kids as well for a new happy family.

Congratulations fella.  :wave Are the kids into footy?

Was she the one you have posted about a year or so ago, or am I thinking of a different poster?

Thanks mate. We have dated about 2 1/2 years on and off and just couldn't get it together, frankly mostly my fault of not being ready to commit 100% of everything to a new wife (after two shitty divorces).

My own daughter hates team sport but am really excited that my new step son and daughter and both into footie. I was his coach for one season which was awesome.

Really looking forward to the future.

Missus went for another scan this afternoon - now the cysts on her ovaries have disappeared too. The body is a weird thing, she's gone from chest pains, fluid in a lung, massive CA-125 level (cancer indicators and we were told she had cancer initially) and cysts to absolutely nothing wrong with her, all in 6 months. :D

That special something something that you've been getting regularly since you started dating her?

Yeah, that stops cold around week 8. Then you count the days until your birthday.

Tonight getting trophy. Few weeks ago I drank til I passed out on couch

Tonight I drove to a friend's. Waited til I got home. Two beers to celebrate. Lying here buzzing and smiling as I prepare for sleep feeling so lucky.

Feeling grateful for this moment.

It's just nice and I don't have to get super duper drunk for it
