Honestly tired of hearing "it's not that serious", "we won't put a dead line on it', "we won't rush him back", etc. Wouldnt like to imagine our midfield without Lucas AND Gerrard.

I think Jonjo getting recalled isn't the best news on the Gerrard front. Jonjo's not back to cover for Lucas.

During the game against City I heard the ESPN Brazil guy saying that Stevie will MAYBE (and a big maybe indeed) be available in late December, but I havent found any official news about it.

Think he's back purely to make up numbers, plus replace Spearo on the bench. From what we do know, Gerrard's rehabilitations going well, cast off e.t.c., just being treated with ultimate care considering what an asset he is to our team.

Didn't think HEskey had scored so many goals for us. Looks like Gerrard assisted nearly all of them.

Would be nice to see that crossing from the right when Carroll's in the side.

It's amazing how productive he is on the right. His crossing isn't an area of his game that tends to get a lot of attention, but it really is sublime.

I am not certain that the full lung bursting game is something that will come easily to him anymore. I think a career of being a more reserved but ultimately more controlling midfielder beckons.

Just hope that we are extremely careful with him and don’t let him play 90 mins in his first match back, like last time. Thing with Gerrard is that, yes he is a great player, but he is also extremely injury prone whether that is due to age, I don’t know. Therefore, I don’t see Gerrard as part of the first team anymore. When he’s fit, yes that’s a massive bonus and he goes straight back in the team. But we need to prepare with life without Gerrard, which at the moment we seem to be doing rather well, given the size of the task.

In fairness to Andy he has rarely questioned Gerrards ability, but the willingness to take one for the team and play on the right where he seemingly played the best we've seen and had the highest amount of goals that season!

Yeah, but I would've scored off most of those assists, and that's more to do with the quality of the assist rather than my footballing skillz.
