You don't have to redeem the codes at all if you don't want.

The codes are basically just a way of Gearbox giving back to the fans for buying the game.

The game itself is utterly fantastic, the levelling up and desire to find better weapons is highly addictive.

What about the online part? Thing is i dont have many friends to play with but a lot of time every third week.

You can get matched online with people of the same level, and you do quests together. It's a tonne of fun.

Whats the general feeling on the DLC for this? Cpt.Scarlets DLC looks pretty decent and gets good reviews as does the Torque one, both supposedly have around 15 - 20 hrs additional gameplay, does anyone have them and can recommend them?

i have them all, got season pass

haven't spent a second in any of them, waiting till i'm level 50, currently 49, then starting into DLC

they won't be raising the level cap above 50 as they say it will totally break the game

How is it going to break the game? I pretty much stopped playing this because of the level cap.

Downloaded Mr Torgue's Campaign of Carnage last night - absolutely superb, from the story, to the add ons and the new life it's given the game.

Looking at BL and BL2, you have to say GBX don't half know how to make a game and extend it beyond it's initial shelf-life.

It's also been confirmed there's another character class coming and they're working on another DLC - which will include additional levels.

Came in to post this. Can only really justify spending £20 or so at the moment and I really shouldn't spend that I've so much work on my plate. If it's a big discount though I won't be able to resist.

Just after Christmas I got a pre-owned copy for £25. You don't need to spend a lot.

And you'll get your money's worth, trust me - I have about 120 hours logged just with one character. And that's tiny compared to some.

If so, it does, although I haven't bought it and have instead just bought two of the available DLC packs separately (Mechromancer and Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnage).

That 120 hours I have with one character has only about 5 hours included from Torgue's CoC. The rest is purely from the main game.
