I've just been sent this link for a stadium design which I havent seen anywhere. I've searched the forum but cant find the same url so apologies if its been up here somewhere.

It looks like they were designed in 2011 so whether they are from the FSG era I dont know.

Why does the title say 2010?
That new stadium looks shite and the expanded version is a waste of time with 50,000.

This redeveloped design for 60,000 below looks good but would take 3 years to finish with loads of disruption.

The title says 2010 cos the images have @2010 written on them. so they could have been designed before FSG took over

If I am right, I think these are just concepts, not anything official. The concept is fine though. Expand the main stand/centenary and fill in the corners.

It's something to do with Ian Ritchie. He's a red and an architect. He did an alternative design a while back - this must be a development of it.

the 60,000 redevelopment also says in the cons that it would cost more to do than build a shiny all new & better stadium which is just silly

Don't mind that new one at all, like the way there aren't any large obtrusive entrances at pitch level. Would need to see more renders to make a proper judgement though.

The problem is, it's pretty nailed on that it has to stay single-tier.

Anfield getting redeveloped no new ground. New tier on anny road next season away fans banned capacity down to 37000 then main stand knocked down following year will be announced shortly.

It's going to be smaller than the other stands if we redevelop Anfield. You can't go back any further because of the Walton Breck Road and the seat spacing is as tight already it possibly can be (before anyone mentions it, a steeper rake makes no difference). You might add a few thousand by filling the corners in and cantilevering over the road, but the only way to make it match the redeveloped stands in a 60,000 stadium would be to add another tier and then it's not the Kop anymore.

I don't think it's a big deal - the Kop is already smaller than the Centenary.

in size yes, but it's capacity is larger than any of the other stands, but that won't last if anfield is redeveloped.

What would be a realistic capacity tho,say another tier on the anny would ad 7-8 thousand,then i reckon after the main stands redeveloped you lookin at no more than 56,000 maybe.

I'm sure United banned away fans when extending Old Trafford. Think it was the season Cantona made his comeback from the Kung Fu ban. Pretty sure his first game back against us when we drew 2 - 2, Liverpool fans where banned because of this. But this was United and it's one rule for them. We wouldn't be allowed.

you can on a temporary basis. I am pretty sure we did that during the early stages of the Kop and Anfield Rd redevelopments, and I know also Man United didn't allow away fans during their North Stand redevelopment.

Im guessing planning permission would mean it would take longer then next season before the build would start.

Haha, only temporary whilst we redevelop. Although, I like the idea of banning them permanently!
