Sometimes I hate Twitter loads of rumours going around that Hodgson will be sacked tomorrow.

This must be about the fifth game this season he was going to be sacked after.

He will have had the Sack more times than Santa the way things are going  ;)

This whole thing - the Hogdson era - its like twisting a bloody apple round when holding it by the stem
You think to yourself "one more twist, once more round and the wee fucker has to go" and it never does
Well my apple has just dropped - so I can confidently predict that Roy wont be our manager in 24 hours time - hows that for a source

Really NESV should come out with a statement saying that he is staying or they are looking for a new manager at least then we will all know where we stand.
Don't blame me I voted for Jeremy Corbyn!!

Its speculation at worst and you cannot respond to it.

Has he!!. Where did you read that?

And if you ever put "Hodgson" and "Ireland" in the same sentence, I'll hunt you down and skin you alive!!  >:( ;)

It was on yahoo homepage with headline summat like "Trappatoni Has Stroke". When you clicked on it, the headline on the actual article said "Trappatoni denies having stroke". Must have been a bad one, poor sod forgot it about it three days later.

You'll hunt me down will you eh? I already know you're in Cork and have bunny ears. Most Corkonians have goats' ears so you'll be easy to find.

The problem I see is that FSG are conscious of the fact we have another 4 games between now and 16th.  To replace a manager right now gives zero time for the replacement to breathe before his first game.

Of course at this stage it really doesn't matter as we'll probably lose the next 4 games with Roy at the helm.

Thanks for the joke post; a sort of parody of the shit and incorrect conclusions of the sky-washed legion? Well done, I like it. Sadly, like you I despair that some fools actually believe this nonsense.
Mate it would not matter what evidence and stuff i brought to the table you would try to argue the toss anyway and are only interested in attempting to sound clever etc and conform to a group of people you want to impress by agreeing with all their views.
If he did get the job you can mark my words now and keep in memory if your so sure to point out to me in future as i believe he would achieve nothing and needs to be back in spain with a suitable club to be able to achieve anything, the prem is not his thing.

God yeah, imagine if Hodgson became Ireland manager. He'd probably fail in getting them into a major tournament or something.

Bizarrely, Hodgson actually has a decent track record in qualifying competitions as an International Manager with Swizerland and Finland.

Hodgson for England isn't quite as self-serving as it sounds.
