It'll come to surprise to many but this lad is the best centre half in the league, he's sol Campbell with composure.

One of his best performances for us today. Totally dominant. That block in the first half was game-saving.

Great to see him rightly recognised as MOTM, unexpected from that twat Shearer to pick up on it.

His post match interview on BBC was an absolute treat, so much fun (while being sincere humble and honest)! Here's to many more.

He and his centre back partners have been in insanely good form for the last 6 or so weeks. Almost 100% of our recent MOTMs have been from them

I just noticed that he's apparently never been sent off in his entire career. For a player who makes as many 'big' sliding tackles as he does, that's remarkable.

He’s unreal. I don’t think it gets acknowledged enough just how difficult his job is because he’s not just a CB in the traditional sense, he’s constantly having to also cover out wide when Trent inverts or goes up and a lot of the time he’s both the RB and the CB in our team and he’s almost flawless doing it. I really hope he manages to stay fit for the rest of the season because I think it’ll decide where the title goes.

Yeah, he has a more difficult role than most CBs with Trent moving around so much.

He used to be a bit too eager and cause dangerous set pieces from non-dangerous situations, but that's rare now.

If he were British he would be a star, but he kind of flies under the radar.

Colossal performance. Absolutely magnificent. Martinelli has no chance against Konate. Now on par with Virgil. He just needs to be luckier with injuries. The sky is the limit for Ibou

Martinelli was completely irrelevant in the Anfield game from the start cos of Ibou too. Reckon when he falls asleep at night he sees Konate in his nightmares.

Same applies to Havertz, but he also sees a goal and he's not sure which is more terrifying

It's vital he stays fit to have a chance of the title. Probably Ali Virgil the most important

Yeah, he's brilliant. Feels like he's hardly played this season too, Klopp did say something previously about needing to manage his minutes but feels like we need him fit if we're going to mount a sustained challenge on multiple fronts, particularly the league.

Loved his interview on the BBC after game as well.

What a top signing so glad we got him instead of his old Liepzig CB partner. Was rewatching the 2nd half just now . Did anyone else notice Ibou calling out there's 2 mins to go at around 92 mins when we conceded the corner to focus the minds.
He'll win the league in the next 3 years. Quote me on that.
Quote me on this, but come next season he'll be great for us. Just needs to remove the walking headless chicken next to him
