I don't know how a French football news outlet would have a scoop about the negotiations between an American athletic wear company and a British football team owned by Americans...
I imagine it's because Mbappe can't keep a fucking secret.

I’ve not much of an issue who it is brand wise as long as they don’t give us a replikit. Nike bring production and distribution capacity to the table which NB can’t (or won’t) so it’s a big plus for them.

I never really got this fear of replikits. I honestly, truly, do not care as long as the kit's red and not shite and looks like sportswear.

Just... make it red, and make it classy. Distribute it everywhere, cool...

if this was changed from T-mobile, qatar airways and bayern munich, to standard chartered, western union and LFC
You'd be happy ?

It's Bayern shirt, not lfc

I do realise it's nike who we might be dealing with, but it's the same.

Atleast with NB, it's a design for lfc, not for the whole market

You would like to think that, given Warrior's complete lack of taste displayed in the change kits they produced, and the consistently excellent first team kit produced by both Warrior and NB, that there's a pretty strict brief on the home jersey, with the proviso that they can jizz whatever nonsense they want on the alternate jerseys.

That shirt is not very nice. That would be my issue with that shirt. The fake duvet-print graphic is ghastly.

But apart from that, who gives a fuck? Up until the late 1970s we had utterly generic off-the-shelf sportswear in red. No one gave a shit then.

I'm not pining for those days, I understand the benefits of commercialisation.

But offer me the choice between a 100% template spesh in the right shade of red that looks good and that Warrior home kit with the weird two-tone fangs on the collar, or that NB kit with the fucking awful cut on the shoulders, and I'll take the template every time. Who cares? Give us the money, make the kit nice, who gives a shit if River Plate and Lyon and Napoli have the same template? I just don't get it.

I just hope Nike continue with the blood red colour and not that disgusting bright red colour as above.

Stick an Liverbird and the Standard Chartered logo on this shirt and that's likely to be  our home shirt. Very little imagination but we're getting good money pumped into the club.

Really? The colours and patterns scream that please look at me. A Liverpool shirt doesn't need that, it should reflect confidence and stature that says we don't need to grab attention, we are known everywhere anyways. Leave shirt design like this for PSG or City.

It's just so generic isn't it, but you just know all the Nike fanboys will be jizzing over it anyway if we get something like that.

PSG are playing home CL games in their third ('European') strip.

That's going to be us in two seasons.

We're going to be playing at home in a Nike strip that isn't red. That's what all that Nike cash means.

Isn’t it down to some 30th anniversary thing?

I highly doubt the club will give up wearing red at home for a few million more. Suggesting otherwise is a tad scaremongering.

No, I agree they don’t but it’s down to some 30th anniversary of their deal with Nike. Apparently.

Plus PSG are run by some shitty oil state looking for as much coverage as possible. We are run so shite.

Yeh the Club would want at least £5m not to wear red. The most tempting option might be the £10m to wear stockings and suspenders. I know it sounds a bit crazy but what can you do YOU simply have to generate as much money as you can.

Remove the patch from the sleeve. I have a place where I can buy all the CL badges, and obviously don't want the WU logo sticking out underneath.
