Watched  the highlights earlier. Looked completely dominant. Once Dom hits a ball it stays hit!Sweet strike.
Nunez was awesome, shame he didn’t get a goal.
After Nunez hit the bar, it looked like a penalty for handball by Villa defender? Wasn’t mentioned on MOTD.

Said this at half time and it's 100% true as I've looked back - before Nunez hits the bar, when he runs through, the ball bounces off him, and Salah picks it up from an offside position. It wouldn't have counted and neither could a penalty be awarded. Annoyed me that the commentators didn't pick it up during the match.

As for the game. Feels like it's been a long time since I felt the comfortable certainty of victory like yesterday. Delighted for all the written off players in particular. We could have had another 3 easily. Very pleasant afternoon.

Scoring an early goal makes such a difference especially when playing against teams who want to sit back and shithouse their way thru a game.

Really, the only negative was more injury worries. Hopefully we have 2 weeks to clear it up and Trent is not too bad.
