I've only seen him for the full 90 mins 3 or 4 times this year. But Harry Wilson the one critism I have is he has a tendency to drift in and out of games. He needs to get himself more involved.

I think in a much better team he would be

Other Derby players seem to be ok. Lampard has talked about Wilson coming in more from the line and getting more involved. Some of the bits I've watched he's probably had the least touches from the attackers. But I do think it's something that can be improved on by watching back games and thinking about his movements. He's good in the decisive moments but he has to improve the rest of his game, including helping out the right back. If he's open minded and intelligent, and has good coaching, he'll be a much better player by May.

Was watching today and he showed for the ball all day in the second half but Bryson? couldn't pick out a pass if his life depended on it.

Another full game played by Marko Grujic today in a 1-1 draw at home vs Werder Bremen. He was a bit of a fouling machine today! But didn't get booked.  Hertha played very well first half, and Grujic is always noticable in that midfield, always showing for the ball. Not his best game in terms of passing (one or two nice ones though), or duels, but he doesn't shirk responsibility for sure and puts the work in each game.

If off-the-ball movement is something he needs to work on then hard to think of a better teacher than Lampard.

Awoniyi Scores 6th Goal In 7 Games For Mouscron - By Oluyemi Ogunseyin

Nigerian striker Taiwo Awoniyi netted his sixth goal of the season in seven matches when Royal Excel Mouscron played out a 1-1 draw with Standard Liege in a Belgian league match on Friday, Completesports.com reports.

One of the most in-form strikers on planet earth at this very point, Awoniyi grabbed a goal for Mouscron in the 60th minute to make the scores 1-1.

He has taken the Belgian First Division A by storm ever since he had a re-union with Mouscron in January, having previously left for Genk where he failed to shine.

But since returning to Mouscron last month, Les Hurlus have won six of seven games the 21-year-old has played with the Liverpool loanee directly contributing to 8 goals (6 goals, 2 assists).

Love the highlighted bit by the slightly biased Nigerian reporter.  ;)

Friend of mine went to Ipswich V Reading yesterday. Was very impressed with Ejaria, fucking awesome were his exact words. Ipswich aren’t up to much these days but said he stood out from both teams.
Can’t remember how old Ejaria is now?

How’s Harry Wilson doing?
If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.

How’s Harry Wilson doing?

According to the BBC website he was ill this week so Lampard dropped him to the bench for the Villa game. By half time Villa were winning 4-0, so Wilson was brought on the second half. The score remained 4-0 and Wilson was the best player on the pitch in the last '45.

So, pretty well I think.

He’s dropped off a bit in the games I’ve watched on tv recently but that’s as much down to derby hitting the wall

He always looks lively to me and I think playing with better players will see him step up a level again

He’ll have a huge opportunity precseason as has been said due to the Copa America and African nations Cup

Has a 2 year loan with Beşiktaş IIRC. Apparently some interest for him to go back to Germany. Can't see him coming back here. We have a world class GK that he won't be able to displace. May need to look for a strong deputy if Mignolet decides to leave though, but I doubt Karius will settle for that.

Think they have to buy if certain criteria met. Was something like European qualification and 60% games played I thought from  memory

I'd be quite happy to have him here as deputy to Ali when Mignolet leaves, not sure Karius would take that and half of our so called fans would lose their heads if that happened.

Lallana should have been on loan already, no goals nor assists the last two years. Similar to Markovič, they are two unproductive players. Not even an ice-hockey assist from Adam today, he looks finished (sorry for poor try of irony.)

I don't think any of us on here can begin to understand what he must have been through, it was shameful how a large portion of our fanbase turned their back on him when he needed us. The vitriol and hate he suffered was disgraceful.

"...manager Gunes publicly criticised Karius for the first time after the final whistle as he admitted the loan move was not working out and he would have dropped the German in favour of Tolga Zengin if the 35-year-old had been available."

Ouch.

Either that lights a fire under Karius or just deepens the funk he is in.

Before the CL final, he was fine. Better than Simon for us. Even during the final, very composed and solid until that inexplicable underarm pass that led to the calamotous 1st goal. For some lucky goalie somewhere, a kind referee may have chalked that off , and all would have been fine. Or for some lucky goalie somewhere, Benzema would nt have been canny or lucky enough to do things exactly right to find the back of the net. Or for some luvky goalie, goal number two never happens to be the best overhead kick in the history of the CL....
But...Fine margins.
And then goal number 3 was just....head gone and total shambles.

But fine margins.
If Karius can get his head right, there is a good keeper in there.

His head having gone over there might be due to the fact he hasn't been paid in 4 months or so. While these boys are paid well, they still need to be paid. If you are working and not getting paid then naturally your motivation to keep working falls and your mind wanders.

He made a very high profile error. To recover from such a mistake you need a couple of quiet seasons where you just go about your business quietly and confidently and build your reputation back up again. I was surprised when he went to Turkey because the league isn't very high quality, and the fans there do turn on their players at times. Would have been much better if he could have returned to Germany.
