Basically because Rafa rested some players in game against Fulham who were also in a relegation battle, due to having an important CL game coming up. And conveniently leaving out he'd done the same thing earlier in the same season when he basically played a reserve team at Old Trafford because he had a game against West Ham coming up were he thought his side would have a better chance of winning that one if he rested his better players. They lost both games against Man Utd and West Ham by the way.
