Martin Skrtel directly responsible for 3 goals in my book.
Seriously? How? The second goal we conceded was no one's fault but the system we were playing. Henderson should have dropped deeper. Do people actually just like to come on here and slag off players instead of actually trying to analyse things instead?

I thought we were great in the middle again. Weakness in the two boxes though is gonna cost us until we fix one or both.

As grateful as I am to Skrtel for scoring that goal, he was at fault for both goals today

His apologists will disagree.

You cannot blame that draw on the ref, borini was a tool, what if your honest and take the rose tinted glasses of is the Abject defending, its woeful, it's been woeful for a season and a half, it's is Rogers job to do something about it, get a fucking top notch defensive coach in and just watch us rise up the league, yes other posters are going to think I,m off my rocker but blow the budget on  quality centre back, as the very first January signing, paired with a really good defensive coach we will be better.
was on blankety blank once and came second.........

All the last week's told me is that we'll be fine come the second half of the season. We were really good today for the most part. Really good.
Got to remember, Markovic, Coutinho, Sterling and Lallana were our main attacking threat today. That's 20, 21, 20 years old the first 3 of them.

Arsenal were always going to score one, fair play to them for the second goal. The first...it wasn't a freekick, and Skrtel...fucks sake.

The issue today was the lack of a finisher in the team. Till Sturridge gets back/we sign a decent striker in Jan/Balotelli magically starts scoring, we're going to struggle a wee bit to get the results that reflect our performances. Well, at least the performances are getting good now. One step at a time. Win the next 2, end the year on a high and get Danny fit ASAP.

Should have won. I'll take the many positives over any negative. Markovic, Lallana, Lucas, Coutinho and Sterling all played well. Shame Coutinho didn't have his shooting boots on in the second half though.

At the end of the 1st half there were dozens slagging off Skirtel for his performance, just watch the same ones come in now and praise him.

He was shit before their first goal. He was shit after their goal. He is shit after his goal.

We dominated and played well, yet we're terrible in both boxes, for me we deserved nothing as we were inept in the most important areas of the pitch.

Completely disagree. Absolutely deserved a point at the absolute minimum.

Not as late as Dirky's equaliser but nice to sicken them so late. Frustrating as always but I am encouraged as we played much, much better and showed a lot of character to get a point.

No complaints about Borini's red as he was too fired up but I have no idea how he allows Flamini to get away with a second yellow for a poor challenge.

Relieved that we got the draw, gutted we didn't win. Funny old game isn't it?

Overall a very good performance. Don't understand the idiots saying we deserved nothing, probably the bunch that pine for us to do badly just so they can get on the managers/certain players backs.

We really need to sort out that defence though, it will cost us time and time again. It's not the personel IMO, it's the system. The system isn't working and hasn't been for a while, and it's knocking the defences confidence which runs through the whole starting 11. Rodgers is still a young manager and I think he needs help in this department. The way forward is a good, solid, proven defensive coach IMO. Hope Brendan can swallow his pride and accept he requires help. It's no problem wanting/needing help sometimes.

No point in creating chance after chance after chance 29 shots! 29! the most since Opta started collecting stats, only 4 actually troubled the keeper.

It's almost like we haven't got Suarez and Sturridge up top anymore banging them in!!!! Any side without a recognised goalscorer is going to struggle to put the ball in the back of the net no how dominant they are.

And a few that should've hit the target. Not clinical enough but we created enough to hurt them. Toothless wrong word. And they are Arsenal, not useless at all, even if we did make them look poor with our general play

Poor shooting today. I would not go that far, but he looked his age and for once didn't contribute to our attacks as he normally does.

I don't. He's a fucking idiot

I do. Imagine being your manager's first signing, but have to watch all of the newer players get ahead in the team (despite not playing much better), as well as not receiving a proper run in the first team. He was determined to prove himself. Like a caged animal, he had only what, 20mins to impress. The high boot was not deliberate and the ball throwing was out of mere frustration.

We still cannot defend, and we didn't deserve to win. Same story.

We desperately need to change things defensively. Do we have a dedicated defensive coach? We need one. It has been the same problems for 3 years and after huge investment in the defence it is getting worse.

Having said that I think Toure and Sakho are both good players and played well, and our overall team play is good. A new GK that can dominate his area and command his defence, and a goalscoring striker is a must in January.

Borini was far too hyped, far too determined to prove a point. It was like unleashing a starving, caged dog.

I feel for him. No blame at all. Just sympathy for how this season has gone for him.

Well put.

It was a spirited display by the whole team. We will turn season around.

Or you could argue it's the linesmans job to spot those things - he didn't. Oliver had to give a lot of decisions cos his linesman did fuck all...
