No Darth Red - Moyes' best shot of an Anfield win? Was Last season when we didn't have half the cover in the team we do now & he blew it against our bare-bones outfit that had been down on it's uppers for months before the game.  Now? We have a side which despite it's inexperience & panicking at times can also put in performances to rank alongside the best & indeed defeat said best on it's day & in players like Suarez & Carroll? Not to mention Gerrard & Spearing? We have a good mix of local knowledge & the inborn hunger to win the Derby that you always need & get from Liverpool born players & the sprinkling of stardust & power from players that Want to be here & have already scored against Everton - Not to mention Dirk Kuyt whose getting an Ian Rush like reputation against those bitter B*stards.  Contrast to last year when most of the team were kids or free transfer replacments for those out injured & the few good players we Did have? Didn't want to be here (1 of whom's gone now - 1 of whom changed his mind - Sure you know Who I meant no?) & with the ref' giving them free rein to committ GBH as seen by the disgraceful assault on Kelly for their 2nd goal - Kelly is another one who'll have a lot to prove after that also.  Anyway in short? Moye's best chance to win at Anfield? Was last year not this & he bottled it big time- Not for the first time at Anfield either;  Anyway, He's Had that chance now - He Won't get another & tonight? We'll make damn bloody sure he Does regret this - We'll beat them, I'm certain of it;  As  I said? Moyes had his chance & Won't get another,  Tonight? He'll regret not doing what he should of done last season at Anfield but On the pitch this time? They won't come close to us despite the media slavering for him to win here this time to mark his anniversary at their dump & give them more ammo' to fire at Kenny? None of it will matter when the game starts - We're better than them when on our game by a distance & tonight? We'll Prove that in spades & win by a couple - This? Is the night when it All changes; Mark my words.....................

Would not exactly be overwhelmed if it turns out we're going 4-4-2 (again!) with Downing and Henderson out wide. They just have not cut it this season at all for me in any game. Would have preferred Maxi in there.

Not sure I like the idea of Carroll in a defensive midfield role. Also Spearing's height ain't the best for Downing's crosses..

What are you talking about, Carroll is in goals

Would have had Kuyt involved in this from the start personally. Adrenaline and passion gets you through games like these and he's got that in abundance. Bellamy's the same but I'm not sure he'd have handled two games in quick succession. Happy with the side, as long as it's more towards a 4-3-3 or similar, not a 4-4-2 with Henderson on the right.

To think in 2008/09, we'd usually have just the one with Gerrard being absent for certain periods.

The hope is that Jordan is played in the centre and that he and Downing don't go missing. Every man needs to stand up and be counted for this one. Nothing else will do. Glad that KK has finally dropped his fellow Scotsman and lived up to his post Bolton comments!

Thanks for the team news Thommo!

What of it? No matter what the team is, someone would be here moaning about it. Kenny can't win in that regard.

Good line up, and a two pronged attack. Looking forward to Suarez playing off Carroll again.

Would have had Kuyt and Maxi out wide, and Bellamy for Carroll. Kuyt and Bellamy are fighters (needed in games like this) and better players than Henderson and Downing. Just have to see how things pan out.

Hoping the formation is:

               Back 5

        Hendo  Spearing

Suarez   Gerrard  Downing

               Carroll

But it'll be 4-4-2 with Henderson on the right, I'm sure.

If we do win and perform well tonight, I hope Kenny rips into them about why they can do it in big games and then be shit against Sunderland.
There really isn't.  I think a lot of us, even our own have started doubting it. It's time to rise up. And take what is rightfully ours. It's a big mountain, but what is the point in achieving something, which everyone can?

Fate has given us a mountain too big. We have to rise. We have to believe.
