I agree with a lot of what he says, too extreme though. Can argue his case with anyone and very very rarely lose.

I like him, he is a good speaker. As I say, far too extreme sometimes.

A person of great integrity and someone who I have the up most respect for. A person who has sacrificed his political career in the name of truth. Just a shame there's not a lot more like him and Mr Ben who feel obligated, rightly so, to stand up and speak the truth and not tow the line like the rest of the spineless gits.

The following video epitomises every thing Mr Galloway stands for, the truth.

Always thought he was a tit, esp after appearing on that freak show last year.  Must admit, changed my mind a bit re his stance in reference to Hillsborough.

Can't totally agree with his politics though - I'm no tory, but there's left wing, and then there's Galloway.

Really though, he's only considered extreme as mainstream UK politics has drifted so far to the right. At least the guy has principle's that he sticks to. A rare commodity in Parliament.

And delighted he gave the loathsome Una King (aka The Mekon) a well deserved kicking.

He's a charlatan isn't he?

Single-handedly destroyed War on Want, one of the great activist and humanitarian charities since the Second World War. Developed business interests with cruel regimes abroad, gave their generalissimos moral and political support, dressed up in a leotard on prime-time tv to promote his right-wing radio talk show, and threw his lot in with the jihadists because it allowed him to carpet-bag his way into the House of Commons (not that he's ever there).

He may be some things, but right-wing is not one of them.

Sadly, he's no socialist, but he is progressive on some issues.

And he syuck two fingers up at the Yanks right in their own backyard which is always a positive.

he is progressive on some issues.
Depends on who he's talking to doesn't it? One message for one set of folks, the opposite message for another set.

I'd love to see him lecturing his jihadi friends on the value of homosexual rights, feminism, anti-semitism, freedom of conscience, liberalism, socialism.

He was fantastic at "saluting" Saddam Hussein's "courage and indefatigability", but less impressive when it came to wondering what happened to all his political opponents.

He's right wing in the same way that Oswald Mosley became right wing. Both had a contempt for parliament, but it doesn't make them 'progressive'.

It's nothing to do with being an apologist, it was many many years ago when he said it and nearly a million lives. Saddam was a c*nt, but it was clear if you listen to more than one sentence on youtube what he was saying.

But I guess if you think he is right wing then you can believe anything.

This is what Gorgeous George actually said to the amazingly successful butcher Saddam.

"I thought the president would appreciate to know that even today, three years after the war, I still meet families who are calling their newborn sons Saddam. Sir, I salute your courage, your strength your indefatigability. And I want you to know that we are with you until victory, until victory, until Jerusalem.” (The Times, January 20 1994.)

Don't know about you, but that kind of fawning makes me cringe.

Well from that clip it sounds like George doesn't speak to that many people.  Probably just himself actually, while preening in front of the mirror.
