Picked all mine up today. to be honest the issue of sitting in your allocated seat is not an issue at grounds where we undersell in the Europa League and have a decent size end with a 1,000 fans. When it comes to grounds such as Real Madrid when its a complete sell out it becomes somewhat different. If we play at Wembley it wouldn't happen. In England it doesn't happen (well in the main it doesn't) but in Europe its taken pretty much as the norm. I have been to over 80 away matches in Europe and being honest can probably think of only a few times when I have sat in my actual allotted seat. However I think at Madrid we should use the seats allocated, but being honest It wont happen. I will try and sit in my own seat but you just know what the answer will be if I get to it and the people in the seats don't want to move !
Good shout.
From memory, Real Madrid was one of the few where most looked for and then stayed in their own seat. I remember one of our group had been gloating all day that he had one of the more expensive tickets and therefore his view was going to be great, so much worth the extra when you get a chance to visit a special stadium, blah blah blah, banging on all day he was. Then we got to our seats and there he was, about 3 rows in front of us!
We didn't take the piss at all, oh no.
