Mods/all
Hope you don't mind me starting this as details of the parade are buried in multiple threads and it would be great if we had a single one to put suggestions for parking, vantage points, etc?
Taken from ITV website (

Tens of thousands of people are expected to watch Liverpool FC tomorrow as they parade the Champions League trophy on an open top bus through the city.
The parade is due to start at 4pm on Sunday 2nd June and will last for a couple of hours.
The route starts at Allerton Maze and will travel north bound on Queens Drive towards the Fiveways roundabout and Rocket flyover. From there it will journey along:
Queens Drive • Mill Bank • West Derby Road • Islington • Leeds Street • The Strand • Route finishes at Blundell Street
Merseyside Police have offered the following advice to those wishing to see the parade:
- Line the full length of the route. There will be no central focal point to the parade
Decide which part of the route you want to wait at and arrive in plenty of time
Be patient – it is impossible to predict how long it will take the team bus to travel along the route
Due to the number of people coming in to and out of the city, there will be significant demands on public transport, with queuing likely
Motorists are advised that the city centre is expected to be extremely busy, with this in mind they should plan their journeys in and out of the city carefully.
"We would expect a large number of people to gather along the route.
"We will be supporting Liverpool City Council, who are organising the event, with the running and policing on the day to ensure the event goes ahead safely and disruption to regular road users and people living and visiting the city is minimal.
“Officers will be on hand on Sunday afternoon to provide a reassuring presence and making sure the day is not only one to remember, but also an enjoyable and safe event for all those attending the parade.
“Rolling road closures will be put in place to accommodate the parade and although we will work with Liverpool City Council to keep disruption to a minimum, some traffic disruption is inevitable and we would ask motorists to be patient, or avoid the area of parade route if possible."
So, be good to discuss where to park, where to have a few beers.
