Was in town today having a coffee in the cafes by Blackburn House and took of me jumper as it was actually hot. Cycled to by the Pier Head and was fucking freezing.

Yesterday afternoon was the warmest late September I can recall, but today was only warm in secluded areas, there was a real chill in the air despite the glorious blue in Liverpool's sky. Outside tonight, it's like fucking Winter though Kesey. Jib those sandals until late March mate

I love wearing them though John and love feeling the breeze on my feet. Saying that though when the sun drops it does they get a bit chilly. I was wearing my Brasher walking boots last week so I reckon I am squeezing out every opportunity to wear my sandals.

Out and about in town today (Friday). Still got my shorts on. 

T-shirt weather in the sunshine, but fleece weather in the shade.

I'm definitely going to be on the lookout around town and Sefton Park for a sandal wearing guy on a bike this weekend. If I see you, I'll give you a shout. 

What's your temperature limit for those sandals? It's going to be down to 12 degrees by Monday. I'm forecasting purple toes for you.

First frost but bright and sunny today. The leaves are falling now but I saw a few ladybirds laying on fresh leaves, more of a russet colour than the full on red of summer.

My spirea is in flower and the cherry blossom is out so we'll probably have winter in March and April again [emoji23]

Love it when you start to see that. We always go to Tenerife in January and the sun sets about half 7 - its a shock to come home to the dark UK again.

Yep theres autumn colours appearing in the hedgerows now.

All the berries are turning giving that tinge of the warm glow autumn brings.

It's the angle of the sun in the early evening and the quality of the light, a little more subdued than summer light.

Yep definite chill in the air this week and a heavy dew early morning.  There was a ground frost Sunday morning here.
