I am very happy. Dembele was my first choice to replace Neymar, and for once, I am happy the board agreed and got it done. The fee also seems reasonable in today's market.

By the way, even if I had a choice of Mbappe vs Dembele for the same fee, I am not sure I would have chosen the former. I truly believe in Dembele's potential.

Dembele rather predictably is their new #11. Much more of a natural replacement for Neymar than Coutinho obviously, if that's what they were after.. a like for like. Reality is I think Barca's approach to finding a Neymar replacement was scattergun.. target some teams who aren't guaranteed league winners but have top internationals and rock their bus until they finally give in.

Real Sociedad de Fútbol v Villarreal CF tonight, should be a good game. :)

Well why not? He's doing an incredible job in America and it's still David Villa.. the guy is absolute goals.

I do think having Lopetegui as manager is questionable though in general, done a good job with their unders but that's it.

You must be joking on the fee.   BVB bought him for 15m EUR, you're paying 10x a year later.    :butt

woah who is this Maxi Gomez for Celta.. 6'1ft Uruguayan centreforward. Scored two on his debut vs Sociedad, scored after ten minutes tonight vs Betis. Scored 28 in 47 games for Defensor Sporting in Uruguay.

Notably 10 goals in 12 league games in 2017 in Uruguay, in redhot form.

La Liga has been graced with some brilliant Uruguayans: Walter Pandiani, Gus Poyet, Canobbi, Chevanton, Godin, Luis Suarez, Forlan etc .

Barca are a shadow of what they once were. Honestly, I'd back us against them. Messi the only thing to fear in this team these days.

Asensio with a nice finish. Our group in the CL looks easy on paper but if we want to win the damn thing we have to beat these lads. It's a daunting task.
