EXCL: English giants Liverpool are set to trigger £85million release clause for Mohammed Kudus to capture the Ghana superstar from West Ham United. 🇬🇭 🚨🔴

The Reds activated contacts today to help them in completing the deal before agreeing personal terms.

Liverpool want Kudus to bolster their squad as in-coming Dutch coach Arne Slot is a huge fan of the former Ajax player.

The coming days will be crucial if the deal is to be completed.

Understand Man City, Arsenal, Real Madrid & PSG have all made  preliminary enquiries about Kudus.

Too many crucial injuries at the wrong times.

The kids and inexperienced got by on verve and energy and some naivete as long as they could until they ran out of gas.

The veterans returning from injuries were too rusty and took too long to get back into form.

In that interval is where we lost it.

Beating Arsenal in the FA cup, closely followed by the Klopp announcement lead to the unrealistic prospect of the fabled Quadruple as well as all the good points made above.

When he’s on his game, there isn’t a better player. However, Scottie is just better over 4 rounds.

Mighty impressive he’s won the same tournament 4x times. It’s a very interesting lead up to the USPGA.

It was definitely gone before we played the Bitters. Regardless of what they think and say.
Yep. It was the United cup game for me. I know that strictly speaking it's not the league, but it put doubts in the players' minds, and then the league game there was the beginning of our downfall. Such dominance that counted for nothing in the end...

Would be mental to sign Matip up to another deal no matter what it is. Has there been reports that this will happen?

It's challenging being a Liverpool supporter because even though we are one of the biggest and most successful clubs in the world, we are also unpredictable, and we never know what Liverpool team we're going to get from game to game, never mind season to season. The only club fans that can basically strut around absolutely sure that they're winning 95% of their games are Man City fans. Must be nice. Lol.

I'm really disappointed this is how Klopp is leaving the club, to be honest. I had really hoped we could at least deliver him the Europa League aswell as a goodbye present. It just seems so cold that all he'll be leaving with is the League Cup. Deep down I knew wrestling the league from City was going to be next to impossible but how we started in Europa genuinely made me think we had a really good chance.

I'm sad. I have no idea about Arne Slot cos I had never heard of him before we were linked so I haven't a clue how well he is going to do.

Personally, I think it’s just a negotiation tactic to try to keep the lease down. The council want £1m per year, Forest pay a quarter of that right now.  They should stay and expand the city ground.
That would be the sensible course to take but some of these rich owners don't do sensible most of the time so wouldn't put it past him to go down that route to be honest

The likes of Kaide Gordon, Jayden Danns, and James McConnell, probably won't even make the bench against Villa tomorrow. Would have been nice if they were involved today even if on the bench and as "experienced" heads in the dressing room.
