Won’t he play McTominey ?

Yeah maybe .. Just as bad … he’ll probably play all 3 but they’re all fucking atrocious
Mctominey is great at getting shots / chances in the box but horrible at everything else
Without Casimeiro they’re a wreck defensively (with him they’re just bad lol)

Early goal will be key here these Utd players give up way to easy longer it stays 0-0 will end up being a scrappy game and they could be dangerous on the counter. Let’s just Sparta Prague them 4-0 in 10 minutes job done !

Yeah, against City they proved what a cowardly side they are, but we still have to go and do the business and, as we learned at Anfield, that doesn't always happen. I agree though, if we have a quick start it will be very interesting to see how the game develops.

same here. he has been constantly available when our midfield injuries hit.

does anyone still view him kind of a super sub squad player or trust him enough to create an impact from the start?

I trust him from the start. Would prefer him instead of Dom today considering he played the full match the other day and only just coming back from injury. Either way, they are both great players to have as options for that third midfield place alongisde Endo and Macca.

If we play well we win. Simple as that. We have played well in more games than we have played poorly. We have gone to Arsenal and won . Gone to Spurs and should have won. Gone to City got a point. No extra fears here than any other game really. The teams attitude has been spot on for the majority of the season so expecting the same again today.

Hasnt Fernandes been playing further forward ? I suppose it depends on the striker being fit.

I think they'll fancy themselves more to venture forward today. They're home this time and the result matters more because there's not another chance to put it right in a weeks time if they don't get it today. Should benefit us really. They'll still probably sit in for big periods though. I just think whatever game they try and play we'll beat them.

They play a really weird midfield … 1 deep, 2 advanced and it just leaves them massively exposed and easy to play through.

I’ve no idea what they’re trying to do but I hope they keep doing it.

I thought there were 2 leaked teams last time, one being correct.  Covering all bases?

They’ll line up exactly the way they did at anfield with 11 men behind the ball and hoping to hit us on the counter.

Should be steamrolling them even if we’re not playing well. They’re a poor team living on a good reputation and previous successes.

Full strength to get the comfortable win

We’ll batter them.

I'm expecting the mandatory penalty for Man Utd at Old Trafford for the slightest infringement while we get assaulted in their box with a 'play on' with the ref.

Corrupt officials. If its not today, they'll be in the pockets of Man City, paid off by Abu Dhabi no doubt ala Oliver and co.

I can see us getting a few 50/50 decisions in our favour today so they can rob us in the league game giving the impression it ‘evens out’.

This isa free hit. Win and we take the piss out of the mancs yet again.

Lose and we free up our schedule with our injured players returning to boot.

Even our recent wins there haven't helped the PTSD this fixture has given me over the last few decades. Just go there, withstand the ref nonsense and win, doesn't matter how it's done. Losing to them is not an option.

It's literally ONE GAME.

ONE GAME until a cup final at Wembley. Playing one fewer game isn't positively impacting our season or "freeing up" our schedule at all.

This is a serious quarterfinal and we must and we will win.

He has played a lot of games recently though and Slob needs some match practice. I didn't realise Grav is on the bench, great news.
