Incredible.

Adrian has already seen more action than some backup keepers see in a career.

Unfortunately, it's usually the case that someone has to get injured before anything's done about the issue. The media were all about how funny that girl that ran onto the pitch in the CL final was, but she could've slipped and tripped a player as much as this guy (though nobody saw him coming would be the main difference). Hopefully he gets a massive fine in order to stop people from trying it in the future.

Trouble is there's only so much a handful of stewards can do when faced with 10000 football fans. The responsibility is on people not to act like dickheads because you just know the answer from the powers that be would be something extreme akin to fencing. All fun and games at the time but the repercussions for all of us can be severe.

All for giving stewards extra training but even with that it's easy to get on the pitch when youve got thousands of other people around you who theyve also got to be watching.

Wouldn't take the risk. Don't want him being injured for a long period.

We can't afford too with Allison being out.

I agree, although at least it shows that the injury likely isn't that bad. I bet he'll be fine for Arsenal.

Players will mostly always say that they're fitter than they really are when injured as they want to play. He will be buzzing after the Super Cup but we have to be sensible and really should be taking the decision out of his hands.

Let him rest up at home and get ready for the Arsenal match.

If he is fit to play the new goal kick rule will help him.

He can play a short pass to a defender inside the area who can carry it on from there.

No need for long kicks or even 12 yard ones.

Last time we bought someone of this quality it was to be our #1, so I suppose this is an improvement in our goalkeeping recruitment policy.

If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.

Yeah, although you'll get some rushing in here to attack him for making it. He's not perfect, even Alisson isn't, and we shouldn't expect perfection.

Made a couple of good saves, and a howler. Hopefully more of the former and less of the latter from now on.

Sometimes takes a howler like that to get a keeper to concentrate (happened to Alisson) so hopefully wont see it happen again.

He’s a number two.

There’s a reason he’s not a number one.  But he’s not a bad number two for all that.

He won us the cup but bollocks did he win 3 points for us. Alisson might have claimed the corner that Yoshida nearly scored from and he let them back into that after a 2-0 win for us looked certain. As stated above, there's a reason he's number two and the Alisson can't come back soon enough.

Shows why he's a 2. Capable of making good saves but equally making mistakes. He made the same mistake twice, the 2nd time it cost us a goal.

Hopefully he learns from it, until Becker comes back

I also don't like that he's rooted to his line on free kicks and corners. But a good shot stopper
