Booked Liverpool to Paris £120 Wednesday back home Friday afternoon. Take a train or bus to bordeaux .. Sorted.

I'm doing it that route so no turning back for me. Only 2 hours from geneva to sion mind.

Yeah 3 half hours by train Paris to bordeaux I did Milan to Basel train last year 4 hours so not a problem.

Think I might drive Bordeaux. Flights getting a bit expensive, I'll see if they settle down a bit after the weekend and if not I'll get a ferry.
A little bit of contraband in the boot on the way back and it should turn into a cheap trip.
How much easier it is to be critical than to be correct.

Where abouts did you book your hotel for? Booking.com seems to be only bringing up hotels 3k from Sion and nothing closer?? Are you flying into Basel?

talked to one or Russians in the know and they expect the match to be in Kazan--brand new stadium ---they didn't want to commit to defo ::) ::)
It is going to be used for the World Cup and appears to have a roof

If in Moscow, then 100%, but its a hassle and in Russia flights to get to Kazan.
