That fella on Twitter is definitely joking and hooking a few in. However, more broadly speaking, there are plenty of blues who engage in these comparisons. 39 points clear, levels above in attack and defence yet they’ve got players good enough to get in the RS XI.

those lists are always histerically bad. Any list that has Pogba in the top 15, Lindelof in it at all, Dubravka as the highest ranking goalie, and Firmino seemingly not in it at all, deserve nothing but dismissing as a bad joke.

Only 5 Liverpool players in the Top 50. Alisson at 25 - criminal. No Trent, no Firmino, no Fabinho in the Top 50 players of the League. Ridiculous.

Robertson, Salah, Mane & Van Dijk in Top 10 - that's the only thing that's fair.

Frankly, for the season us & City are having, the Top 25 in the league should include most of ours and City's players with the inclusion of few other standouts like Son and Hazard.

I have no idea what do they achieve with these lists. They're horrible, no sane person who knows football & watches the PL can come up with such poor lists and apparently there's 'research' done behind these as well.

I just wanted to share a pearl which a friend told me. His colleague, a bitter blue currently working abroad, told him that the only reason Liverpool is winning is because - we have momentum. He said, we lucked out on going on a winning run, and would otherwise not be winning the fixtures we are winning without the momentum.
So he says, we are just like a flat track bully who can only win when we are winning. If we lose one, he says we will not have such momentum to win. Thus, he is arguing we wouldn't have a good season next season.
It went over my head, even after trying to get it clarified, however, maybe the folks in here can make more sense of it.
