It feels good signing this:

Don't forget to confirm the return email.

Not sure this is really a fan issue, and there's no way a conservative led government is going to support this. But still, the idea of her having a state funeral is pretty abhorrent.

That said, this one is funnier...

The power of petitions is just going to be devalued if you have one for anything you don't like. There's no way she's not getting one.

She was PM for three terms and the first women PM, and regardless how she may have hit the working man, there was still a sizeable amount of support for her amongst the middle / upper classes.

Totally pointless in my opinion.

Plus there is a new film coming out which will show her in a decent light, I would imagine...

I hope she does get a state funeral, and that we all get a day off.

Imagine the street parties up here? there'd be tickertape and bunting all over the gaff.

End of July would be a decent shout.

Got to agree with this. No matter how much many of us despise her, there's no way she won't get a State Funeral and there's no way an e-petition, even one signed by 58 million people would be paid attention to in a case like this.

Think this is utterly pointless.

Also, why is this in Fan Welfare / Campaigns? Appreciate she's deeply unpopular in Liverpool and with fans of the club for a variety of reasons but it's a bit tenuos to describe it as an LFC campaign - maybe move to otsd?

to be honest although I hate Thatcher as much as any true LFC fan - stuff like this will devalue the ePetitions.

It's more important to be signing the Anne Williams one : http://epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/19149 more than anything right now.
