Going to Antwerp the week before so gutted won't get to see them at a European show. However, still have the Manchester show in December - can't wait! Anyone else going?

Tickets for them in Torquay disappeared in seconds. Just praying they play at Glastonbury, can't see them not doing so.

Antwerp and Amsterdam sold out within minutes, fucking hell. I'm on the waiting list (number 4137, lol) in Antwerp so gotta cross my fingers for another show. Bummer.

All you Mumford and Sons fans should check out Frightened Rabbit. Kinda similar, although they do have a few songs with the electric guitar; and also much, much better than Mumford.

Just remember a song with the following line:

"Or should we kick its c*nt in and watch as it dies from bleeding."

Is the rest of their stuff feelgood bubblegum pop too?

"You won't find love in a hole".

That's what they're most famous for. Midnight Organ Fight is probably one of the best albums I've listened to in the last 5 or so years. They're so much more than bubblegum pop. Indie rock, with a touch of folk and a sprinkle of pop.

They're great live too.

Had the pleasure of catching them live here in Christchurch, New Zealand at the end of their Australasian tour the week before last - absolutely superb!

Hopefully a sign of more live acts coming to town in the near future, there's an exciting raw energy to the crowds at the gigs i've been to here as the city slowly gets back on its feet after the quakes.

Just got in from their gig at the M.E.N - Probably one of the best gigs I've ever been too and I've been to quite a few. Superb energy and unbelievable atmosphere - Never seen 20,000 go mental when a banjo goes 'in'! Definitely recommend anyone to see them live if they get chance, won't be disappointed!

I was there mate, unbelievable

Boss doing the encore walking to the other end of the stadium to all huddle around an acoustic guitar on a small stage only to fuck up with the rift and sing accapella to then walk back to the main stage and nail the finale with 'Get by with a little help from my friends' !!

I've seen a LOT of bands live and I reckon that topped the lot

I can't make my mind up about the Mumfords - part of me is pleased to see a talented bunch of musicians who can actually play suddenly becoming popular, and they are clearly a great live band, but the 'folkie' part of me can't really get into the stuff they play.

I suppose if a tiny fraction of their fans decide to look a bit deeper into their background and investigate artists like Show of Hands, Bellowhead, Fairport Convention or Oysterband or any traditional musicians, it has to be a good thing.

I was in the kitchen the other day with my pregnant wife when she noticed that the baby was moving about like a little maniac when Mumford and Sons came on the radio. I've never really listened to them but she made me get the album afterwards.

Whats the opinion on their 2 recent albums? There is a noticeable change in their music since the last time anyone posted in this thread.
