We make 80% of our money from April-Oct. Our income for March, April and may has fallen to zero while we still have to pay our monthly work expenses. The self employed contribute 305bn to the economy and have been left shafted here.

I think people just wish to see some competence from the PM at a time of national crisis. Churchill was generally regarded as very competent leader in WWII, but this did not stop the population from voting him out at the end of the war. Johnson is making the situation worse. He needs to go.

As Chancellor he is probably taking the advice of his advisers, oh I forgot he sacked them to get the gig. As his predecessor said: “I was unable to accept those conditions and I do not believe any self-respecting minister would accept those conditions.”
