Novak to win 2-0 has been a great bet for me as well this year. Usually 1/3 or 1/2 during the early rounds but almost a dead cert when he plays on hard courts.

Few decent offers on for the national.

Bet365 refunding half stake on e/w bets. Terms and conditions apply though  (haven't had time to read them).

BetVictor paying out e/w on the first 6 home.

Here's the bet365 T's and C's....

The Grand National takes place on Saturday 9th April and we've got a fantastic money back offer for Each-Way bets placed on the world's greatest horse race.
All you have to do is place your bets on the Grand National between Thursday 7th April and midday on Saturday 9th April. We will then give you half the stake back for every Each-Way bet that you place, up to a maximum total refund of £125* per customer.
To ensure that your refund is credited as quickly as possible, please only include Grand National bets on your bet slip. This offer is only available between 00:00:01 UK time on Thursday 7th April 2016 and 11:59:59 UK time on Saturday 9th April 2016 and only applies to Each-Way single bets placed on the 'Win and Each-Way' market for the Grand National, taking place at Aintree on Saturday 9th April. Bets placed outside these times will not qualify. The offer will not apply where all or part of a bet has been Cashed Out. Refunds will be credited to your account within two hours of bet placement. Tote bets do not count as qualifying bets and will not be refunded.
To qualify for this offer, you must be an existing bet365 account holder and have opened your account before 23:59:59 UK time on Wednesday 6th April 2016.
Justice for the 96.

I'm from Liverpool like so have no knowledge of baseball but I've had the odd bet on those -1.5 bets this season. Read some stuff that statistical its the sport where the most favourites between 1/2 and evens win so it made me think but my lack of baseball knowledge puts me off.

Froome and Quintana obvious short priced favourites for the stage today in the TdF.

Seeing as its Bastille Day I've had a few quid on Frenchman Thibaut Pinot at 16/1

4/5 on over 1.5 runs in first over eng v Pakistan.

This seems to me to be a good price. If England bat first I suspect they'll be aggressive and Pakistan have struggled a little with their line. Spinner did the real damage.

If Pakistan bat first Jimmy will be bowling. May just try too hard on home pitch

Anyway feel it's worth a few quid!

Any England bowler to take five wickets on second innings currently 11/4 with sky bet. Seems high given Anderson already has two and will bowl again for a full spell after lunch

Bowie - Blackstar at 2/1 to win the Mercury Music Prize.

I can see the judging panel going for the tribute/remembrance factor.

Any Olympics betting going on? :) I've set aside a little of money to be placing some small bets on a few of the random events for added interest. Watching a few random sports during the Olympics is great, but having a couple of quid on Charlotte Dujardin to win the individual equestrian, Norway to win the womens handball or the US to win the archery gets me a little bit more into it :D

I put £300 on China to get 86 or more medals. Managed to cash out £100 at par when the odds moved.

I then lost that £100 on the newcastle game yesterday, so I wont put anymore bets until the end of the Olympics. :)

Last olympics I put a few bets on basketball. The odds tend to fluctuate quite wildly, so you can some times get good odds on the favourite if you time it right.

The 4th test or the series?
It's true to say that if Shankly had told us to invade Poland we'd be queuing up 10 deep all the way from Anfield to the Pier Head.

I think he meant the match today, Pakistan were 125-5 at that time and the collapse had already started (it was 124-3 only about 15 minutes before and 125-7 by about 15 minutes after), with odds going from about 5/1 to 1/2.
