He'll be gone in the summer. It's got nothing to do with yesterday, but it's inevitable after last summers Saudi bid. I said to my mates last year that it wouldn't surprise me if a deal wasn't already agreed.

He's got 14 months left on his contract and there's no talk whatsoever of him signing a new contract. His last deal 2 years ago dragged on for months and months and there was so much talk from his agent about being paid the right amount of money etc. The silence is damning.

Ultimately, he's 32 in June and whilst im sure he could do a job for us for another year or 2, I just cant see FSG sanctioning anther mega deal for a player whose trajectory isn't on the rise.

If you look back at my posts, you'll see I love Salah. I think he's an incredible footballer and what he's done for us in the years he's been here has been remarkable.

However, yesterday he showed himself to be petulant and a bit of a dick. But it's completely out of character. He's been an absolute model professional for 7 years and has never put a foot wrong. Yesterday we saw the frustration of a serial winner who was annoyed at being on the bench, who was annoyed that this season has ended the way it has & who was annoyed at his own lack of form. I'm sure he'll regret it today and after the next game he'll do an interview and brush everything under the carpet.

There's 3 games left boys and girls, in what feels like the end of an era. An era we've all been so lucky to witness and be a part of. Lets enjoy the last few games of the season and hopefully we can see the lads get back to winning ways.
I would go along with all this

For me, he is the greatest player I have ever seen in a red shirt (Following since 1990)

We cant afford to lose him for free, as you say I dont think he will sign a new deal, I think he can still score 20+ a season until his mid 30s but I think its time to cash in.

With Schofield, it wasn’t so much the age difference that was the issue, more the power imbalance in the relationship (senior presenter, junior researcher).

Aye and this one is millionaire footballer worshipped by his village, and young girl made to marry by her uncle.

I think this one is much worse.

Sunak today claiming he's been "very clear" about the timing of the GE - as in, any time between now and the end of the year. ::)

If this fool genuinely thinks that some vague uptick in the economy over the next 8 months might save his party a dozen seats at the GE, then I have a bridge to sell him. And if the Tories think that ousting him after the Locals will improve their chances, I've got the same bridge for them as well.

I'm just really really really hoping that they are so destroyed on Friday that Sunak just gives the fuck up and calls an election for June or July in the hopes people will go on their holidays and not be arsed with a postal vote. It's beyond embarrassing at this point.

They know they're done they just want to milk some more £££ before they're shown the door

Next season will be interesting. Obviously he is staying, it would be incredibly surprising if we looked to move him on this summer. But even though he certainly has another season, in reality the time he has to impress will be much, much shorter. New manager will need to nail down a consistent source of goals - fast. Darwin will have a major fight on his hands to secure a place and hold it, even without us buying a new striker. I wish him all the best, it would be great to see him become more rutless in front of the goal, but it won't be easy and there definitely won't be as much patience for him next time around.

Is that all it was? I've not been arsed to watch any replays beyond Taylor cheating Gakpo out of a goal.

If that's the whole "blazing row", then what a giant nothingburger. Media can fuck itself for pumping that one up and ignoring the refereeing corruption.

Well that was only the first part, that started it. The worse bit was afterwards, where Klopp walked away, then seemed to come back to Salah and say something, then Salah kicked off big time waving his arms and pointing at Klopp, clearly very angry. Darwin had to step in and sort of move Salah and try and get him to calm down. That's the part they'd shown during the live broadcast.

For those saying it's a storm in a teacup, I'd sort of agree that it doesn't matter for the rest of our season and it's probably resolved by now. But I still don't like what I saw from Salah there. I still think he was way out of order, both in the moment and after the game.

I know Ronnie does it (although he’s actually at least earned the right to), I don’t get why this newer generation of players do so much media work during (hell, even after being knocked out) tournaments. Murphy was always the standout for it

Murphy got knocked out and was presenting for the BBC about an hour later  ;D

I think people will have to be patient with Slot (ha fucking ha right?).

A totally new regime will take time to settle and time to implement their ideas and philosophies.

And time is something we don’t really have.  Because, the euros run absurdly late and the new season starts absurdly early.  Coaching time with the whole squad will be at something of a premium

Be patient folks

Not just the euros this summer but the Copa America as well.
