What's all this about Nike colour ways for 2nd and 3rd kits being inspired by past Nike Air Max? Seems slightly bizarre.

Seems like they know their core fanbase pretty well, missed a trick giving spurs the neon green air max 95

OK, so apparently, according to footyheadlines, all the third kits are based on Nike Air Max trabz.

I cannot believe I have actually done this, but I have searched the internet for Nike Air Max’s with the black tones and 'Vile Pink' ‘colourway’ and I have found these. These may, possibly, be the sneakers which Nike are using in their graceless effort to sell themselves by co-opting one of our actual football kits, the fucking repellent capitalist cuntbags modelling our third kit on:

Apparently the fifth kit, expected to be ‘controversial’, is in ‘We Don’t Pay Any Tax in Europe Whatsover Khaki' with ‘Stomach Acid and Carroty Bits Orange’ trim and badges and is watermarked all over in 'Everton Blue' with the iconic Conservative Party torch.

They're also doing the 4th kit based on Air Max

I actually like that one. Looks like a better version of that Warrior tribal sleeves kit. They're obviously not Liverpool colors but, hey, at least it's not a completely "out there" design that wants to be a "fashion statement" instead of a football shirt.

Good to see our traditions upheld. The Air Max 94 is synonymous with the club.

Air Max 95 would have made a LOT of sense. Most the younger Scousers wear them. Huge in London too. 94 is a strange choice.

If Liverpool want to do something completely ground breaking in conjunction with Nike then they could use the kit design to make a (get ready for corporate bullshit.....) statement about progressive values. For example they could put the LGBT flag colours on as an offset vertical strip down the front of a white away top. It doesn't have to be LGBT based, it could be another cultural,  social or environmental value that could be woven in.

We might as well capitalise on being the number one story in world sport and say to ourselves 'let's never stop leading'. Would bring some integrity to the 'this means more' thing.

Just a thought.

I don't mind the new Inter home kit by Nike, think it's quite smart.

They should have used the neon 110 template for our 3rd kit instead of Spurs!

By recent Barca standards, it's okay. They used to have the classiest kits around in the sponsorless days though, now they're like everybody else.

"Progressive" bubbles should be popped now and then to remind those within them that not everyone thinks the same way. For an example, check out the posts made on the club social media pages when it's 'Rainbow laces' time or something similar. We have a worldwide fanbase and such moves could push many of those away very quickly.
Personally, I just want football to be football, an escape. But as it is certain things are almost inescapable, and that's exhausting - be it ideology, support or anti movements, politics etc. I just want to watch the redmen (in a kit that doesn't have half-White socks ;-) ).
