The talent of Lawro has no limits. Apparently Rafa didn't want to win the game and, by reading the players minds, Lawro determined they won it all on their own:

Quote
"Ironically, Chelsea won this game to the chagrin of Rafa Benitez. He feared the breakaway, but the players have thought 'you know what, we are going to win this.' An outstanding all-round team performance."

Lawrenson's ability to chat spiteful shite know's no bound's.

Another c*nt payed good money for his moronic thought.

That was a great match for us (Fenerbahce SK).

In our 106 years old history we play first time a semi final in Europe and it's just like a dream...

Before we play with Lazio, they were the absolute favorite but we crashed them.

Same here, Benfica is the favoroute side but we show that Fenerbahce want and need this success much more than Benfica.

We won 1-0 but unlikely missed a lot of chances...

Really looking forward to play a final with Chelsea.

We had a revenge from Champions League Quarter Final, this time it will be much more hard for Chelsea but before this we have to beat Benfica in Lisboa too.

Thanks, i couldn't agree much more than this.

On the contrary of our last Lazio matches, we were the dominant side against Benfica.

Well worked team defence is the main weapon for us this year but like i said, our offensive side also were great against Benfica.

Cardozo, Gaitan, Salvio, Lima and Rodrigo ara amazing players but their team defence are not as good as us.

I think we can score goal or goals at Lisboa too...

Hoping Fenerbahce win the whole thing. Played well against Benfica and deserved the win. All they need to do is set up shop in the second leg and counterattack. I hope all those missed chances do not come back to haunt them.

1) If you aren't Uruguayan
2) Play for a London club

It makes you immune to criticism no matter what offence you cause.

Its quite funny because if you read alot of the chelsea forums they all claim that there is a scouse bias. Before our match with them on sunday i scrolled through their chat site to see what the mugs had to say and they were flipping over souness and redknapp being on the panel with no chelsea representation.
I dont think there is any bias, you go to any forum their will fans claiming everyone hates their club and there is an agenda against them, its the media who will look for any little thing to sell a story (a shame newspapers are dying off.......not) and if you have previous particularly on politically correct matters such as racism you dont stand a chance as they will whip up a frenzy to get the public against the player in question.

Mate, believe me all we Fenerbahce fans and our domestic players are waiting for the match against Chelsea since our last Champions League Quarter final clash.

They knocked out us from Champions League but this time they won't be so lucky if we can manage to get final.

In here Turkey, Galatasaray fans don't like Leeds fans; Beşiktaş fans don't like Liverpool fans (for the 8-0 humiliation :D ), and we Fenerbahce fans don't like Chelsea boys...

Ps: However will you sell Skrtel or Agger? We need a strong central defender because Yobo is getting older and all LFC players who transfered to Turkey were so successfull in here. :)

Kewell, Riera, Kuyt etc...

I thought you played Benfica off the oitch tonight.Well done mate.Let's hope for more of the same in Portugal.

Benfica has a crucial match this Monday for the Portuguese league. If they win, they will keep the 4 points advantage for Porto until the next round, when they are going to play at Porto's stadium, almost granting them the title. They went to Fenerbache hoping for a good score of course, but resting some key players like Luisao, Enzo Perez, Gaitan for the portuguese league and knowing that a one goal lost can keep them in the tie.
I expect a very diferent game next Thursday and certainly will be an open tie until the end of the 90minutes.

Anyway great stuff from Fenerbache that night, doing what Leverkusen, Bordeus and Newcastle couldn't do.

I like Rafa's confidence. Most of the other managers, would have gone for safety first by playing strong team, get 2-0 lead and then rest big names. But he has rested big guns like Mata and Oscar from start, keeping an eye on sunday, safe in the knowledge that job is done.
