Paul will people be able to pay memberships on the night since we have a few of the guys from the main branch coming over, have a few people interested and they have asked can they pay tonight, cheers

He's on the plane on the way - but the answer is that memberships can be paid on the night.

No problem.

A very big, wholehearted 'Thank You' to all the NI Branch members and interested parties who attended tonights meeting.
Paul and Peter both stressed that we had made a good impression on them and that it was heartwarming to see so many people who genuinely care about the plight of the club.

Now as we stressed tonight it is down to us to Educate those around us and bring more on board, hopefully we can get even bigger numbers for our next meeting.

On behalf of the NI Branch I would like to express our gratitude to the two gentlemen for taking the time and effort to travel over from Liverpool and alleviate some of our concerns - Look forward to seeing you all again soon

(PS there is a topic on our facebook discussion board reference Venues, Days etc for future meetings)

Was a privelage to attend the Northern Ireland Meeting last night and good to see the passion there. Good to see all the work getting worked on there.

If you are in Northern Ireland and haven't already then get yourself joined to the Branch. If you live elsewhere and want to start a branch where you live then contact Graham at secretary@spiritofshankly.com.

A few e-mails have done the rounds today regarding the formation of a Midlands branch.
The branch is still under development but we need more supporters to put their names forward.
So in light of the upcoming protests and the fact that we need to up the ante on direct action can I urge anyone in the Midlands who hasn't yet expressed an interest in joining to do so.
If there is anyone else interested PM me and I'll pass on your details.
This is no longer about Torres, Stevie et al, nor is it about the manager or how shite we're playing. It's about re-claiming  the heart and soul of our club and ensuring that future generations can enjoy being a part of this great family called Liverpool Football Club.

He stood in at late notice and did a fine job in promoting us at the event

Many thanks to our fellow Swedish SOS Committee Members/ LFC Supporters Club Committee for inviting us over and letting us address the crowd

Great to see the passion there and education is undoubtedly key with regards to the ongoing ownership situation

We signed up 25 new members on the day and had between 25 and 50 saying they'd join online

The 25th of September will go down as a very good day for the Union

Bring on Sunday

Finland is now the latest Branch to be up and running, we're glad to report

i'll put this in here too Rodney

Anyone from Northern Ireland - Join the Union then get on board with your NI Branch by emailing northernireland@spiritofshankly.

We are only 3 months old as a branch but already have deals for our members in place with DFDS Irish Sea Ferries and also The Lord Nelson and Base2stayhotels.

Also, Planning a function to raise Union awareness also - so all Liverpool Supporters are welcome at 'Ma Nelson's' pub on the Lisburn Rd, Belfast on Monday 6th December to watch the Aston Villa match and spend the evening singing along to the songs of Anfield - Exclusive use of the full floor for Liverpool supporters. (We hope that it will be just like the Park/Albert on matchdays)

Check out our facebook page: - http://www.facebook.com/SOS.NI.Branch?v=wall&filter=1

I'm willing to help setup SOS Cape Town. I'm a bit lazy to read through all posts to see if anyone has already volunteered. There's are loads of LFC supporters here, we need to make some noise too. Please let me know if anyone has volunteered for SOS already and i'll see if I can assist them in any way.
