Ended up with three halves after being ahead in 3 in the last few holes.

Brilliant day by Europe. Not just the 5 point lead, but the manner of it - 5 comfortable wins and the US have had to scrape for every halfpoint down to the last putts on the 18th.

Americans will be changing the qualifying rules after Clark and Harman got in after winning majors. Clark has absolutely choked that last hole.

Looking at the matchups I thought they looked stronger than us for the fourballs but when you've got Rahm, McIlroy and Hovland in separate groups you've always got a chance.

Europe really wrenched those opening two halves from the Americans' grasp. The last one was just gifted to them.
American team room will be despondent now. If they don't win the foursomes tomorrow that'll be it.

Great start in the morning and then when things looked like it could be 3-1 to the USA, Europe won the last hole 3 times.

Ricky Fowler has definitely been reported as being ill this week. You'd have thought they'd have sat him out until tomorrow to give him an extra day to get his energy back. Kind of stupid to put him out this morning.

Lowry and Straka walking down the tunnel there looked more like they were heading for the oche at the Ally Pally. They'll still stick another point on the board for Europe.

Getting ahead of myself here but what is the record victory margin? We pummeled them yesterday and it's starting even worse for the states this morning. They've lost three holes out of three
