He's got some qualities, like the pace and movement that gets him to good positions where he can slip easy balls to tap in for other players or have a go himself, but when you see Mané or Leroy Sané play you immediately think "oh something extra in those lockers", you don't do that with Sterling. He's a solid winger, but is flattered by having an extremely attacking team with players that are insanely good on the ball like the Silvas, De Bruyne, Sané and Agüero around him. In a Mourinho team I don't think he'd be of greater use than Martial or Rashford this season.
