Ugly scenes here at Wembley Stadium as Gary Mabbutt appears to have taken his mask off.

;D

I know it's fashionable to slag Mabbutt off, but clearly none of you ever saw his virtuoso performance in The Queen's Nose.
We have to change from doubter to believer. Now.

He was also a decent player, just maybe not draft worthy. Seemed like a nice chap too and always good to hear a Brizzle accent.

I was struggling with players for my last pick and seeing as no one had heard of Silooy I tried to make sure I picked someone people at least had heard of :P

Gary Mabbutt claims to fame:

- scoring an FA Cup Final own goal
- being diabetic
- getting his cheek smashed by John Fashanu

The draft vote winning trifecta!

You should've led with that. This alone makes me wish I'd voted for you now.

Cheers all, there were some really good teams in this. Was going to take a break from these but now we're in lockdown I might have to do it just to cut off the boredom.

Perfect time for us all to get researching and learning about 70s players  ;)

Congrats Sheer and thanks for running it Defacto, even if you fucked up my draft order and cheated me out of Aldair and his 60 appearances a year as a 19 year old.
Maybe the group, led by your leadership, will see these drafts as PR functions and brilliant use of humor

Ah shit I was mean to be first pick wasn’t it! I’d have done with Maradona.

I’m doing a Trump and filing my legal papers. Chalk me down for another win please Betty!

10% of a win. It's like getting the Netherlands in a nations draft.

Once you did the draft order I was dead, that's the biggest part haha!
