Durrant really struggling in Q school.  First two days he hasn't got past the last 128 and has been beaten by two unknowns.

Mark McGeeney doing very well on the first two days and looks certain to get a tour card

You shocked by that?

Misses far too many doubles does Durrant

Well Durrant did make it.

He is now a PDC player for at least the next 2 years.

Hearn is buzzing to have him.

Think it's time the PDC and BDO just come together now.

The 3 time Champion (Durrant) and Number 1 in the rankings (McGeeney) both secured tour cards along with a couple of other players who went quite far in the BDO World Championship.  It really dilutes the BDO.  Hearn offered to buy them out a few years ago and they turned the offer down.  The PDC really doesn't need the BDO and it's hard to see how any of their remaining players would enhance the PDC

How did Scott Waites do in PDC School.

I've googled and can't find any information.

If there is any justice then it should be Simon Whitlock as he has the better Order of Merit.

Anderson is a heck of a loss for the Premier League and darts in general while he remains away. Realistically he's the only person that can ever topple Van Gerwen on any given night.

Whitlock’s in terrible form, he just got spanked 10-1 by Suljovic in the masters. Give it to Chizzy

They're replacing Anderson with a different player every week. Dobey is first up then in order it's Durrant, Lennon, Humphries, Henderson, Aspinall, Hopp, Van Den Bergh and De Zwaan. Shittest idea known to man.

 ??? ??? ???

What?

How is that even remotely fair. So I take it their points wont count and it's just to fill the fixture list?

I mean Anderson is an Order of Merit choice so if he cant take it up then the only top 10 player not picked is Whitlock.

The only thing I can think of is that I'm assuming that Whitlock planned to just go back home instead of playing. But if he is still on the PDC tour then he should still be selected

Can't see Anderson sticking around for many more years, he seemed thoroughly fed up with it all at the worlds.

Not arsed about the premier league, it's a steaming pile of shite.

See that makes even less sense as Premier league players could be playing 'contenders' of different skill

Here is their Order of merit positions based off last years form

Durrant - only just joined the PDC - Ok so you take the BDO guy along to draw the headline match.

20th Henderson (Ł189,750)
32nd Hopp,
33rd Van Den Bergh
34th Aspinall,
38th Lennon,
44th De Zwaan
57th Humphries, (Ł71,750)

Gurney gets Durrant and Cross gets de Zwaan in Rotterdam while MVG gets to play John Henderson and Peter Wright gets Lennon.  Doesn’t seem fair at all that points against the “contenders” count

Shit. Throw in Mervyn King for the utter banter

I could probably count on 2 hands the number of legs they would win combined

Why have 9 players replace 1? What's that about? Joke!

What makes it worse is that any games won by these 9 don't even count.

Hearn said at the Worlds that the young lads were not ready for the PL & didn't want to ruin them then he does this shi@e.

It's obvious Durrant would do alright. He was averaging in the mid to high 90s quite regularly in the BDO. That'll make you competitive.
