It isn't on an island, it's in Florida? Disney/ESPN killed the island

Shame no khabib, but its a great card pre-covid, so to get it on during a pandemic is impressive from dana.

my understanding is ‘fight island’ is for non US(international) based fighters. Jacksonville temporary location for US based fighters till the ufc apex gets clearance from nevada commission.

As for souza, theres photos like the face off when hes keeping his distance but theres also a video fistbumping werdum. The conditions haven’t been tight enough if you ask me. Everyone boarding their own planes some without PPE, gaethje stopping for photos with fans. Someone was bound to get it although in souzas case he apparently caught it at home.

Apparently they knew prior that Jacare had a relative with it, beyond stupid booking him to fight. His two cornermen have tested positive too and there won't be any more testing before the fights. This could get ugly fast.

Nice one, great stream.

Ngannou is a monster, that was essentially a one punch KO.

Have no idea what his coaches were thinking either. At some point why not look to submit the guy, take him to the ground, and use what you're extremely good at rather than sitting there and exchanging all fight long.

I think Tony is bigger threat to Khabib because of his submission but like said, complete ballsup last night by him and his coaches for not attempting to do any of that.

Just woke up to realise courtney casey to win by decision was the only one i got wrong on my 6 fold. Would have been 9 grand. I didnt see her getting a sub at all. Correct ones were ige, landwehr, song all by decisision. Nascimento stoppage. Overeem to win.

Just rewatched mcgregor khabib. Round 3 was mcgregors. I was probably too drunk to remember at the time. A sober, motivated mcgregor gives khabib problems if he keeps his back off the cage and is the aggressor. The lead up to their first one was just a big advert for mcgregors whisky and he was checking out of the sport at that point. It shouldn’t have happened. Rematch interests me more than an usman fight

That Usman fight is never happening. He'd get destroyed, Usman is three times bigger than him and stronger, it's all talk. I just don't see how he beats Khabib, regardless of how focused he is, he doesn't have the skillset to minimize Khabib's strengths.

People are saying woodleys done with mma(lost his belt, hardly active, acting/podcasting) think we’ll see a more aggressive woodley tonight though seeing as he isnt defending the belt anymore. I see him winning by KO

Points: kenney, gutieurez, roberts, sakai. Win: carlyle. Stoppage: woodley.

Then the probablies: rodriguez stoppage, shevchenko points, abreu sub.

Woodley was fighting hurt and injured for a while before he lost the fight. And he was the most active fighter while he was champion so can hardly fault him for taking some time off
