Conor is clearly in a good place (making $80m for this fight alone might do that to you!) but fuck me, how can you not respect Cowboy, he just wants to get in and throw down, one of the best ever to do it

Cowboy is one of the realest guys in the game, he's respected by everyone. Unfortunately can't see anything but a KO for McGregor. Hope he faces Masvidal next who I know will baptize him. If he goes for Khabib, he'll get mauled again.

Israel Adesanya v Yoel Romero at UFC 248 on March 8th. Also rumours that Darren Till stepping in to face Jared Cannonier. UFC London also has it's main event, Tyron Woodley v Leon Edwards.

He's definitely not getting KO'd by Cowboy. But if he faces Masvidal next, I could see it happening. Or perhaps getting submitted if he faces Khabib or Ferguson.

With this toned down no-cocky attitude Conor does seem very different.

I prefer the cuntish version of Macgregor, it adds to the hype and wanting to see him get battered more.

He's just shit, far past his prime. Never been a top contender. Conor needs to face someone decent next. Guarantee he gets dominated by any of Khabib, Ferguson, Usman and Masvidal. I think Gaethje (who also finished Cowboy few months ago) would pose a threat to him.

That wasn't unexpected but still, nicely done and Mcgregor has been promising he'd show something new for years, I don't think I've seen a fighter smash someone up that much with shoulders before? Cerrone though..
You can't make a bad matchup but Masvidal would do the biggest busines, be a wild fight too.

Never seen it standing though.

From memory, Usman had success with shoulders vs Woodley. And I think Jon Jones used them against Rashad Evans

Yeah both sound right. I think I was going for Guida, but the only jaw he broke was Dos Anjos with a punch so I misremembered that.
