Mane is one of the very best wide attackers in the world, especially among players under age 25 (and he plays on the same team as another one). I chimed in on the pre-game thread when 3/4 of the posts were about finishing 8th, bad record at Emirates, etc. and swum against the stream with my first post and turned the thread around. And i was right, we've gone straight at them, put in 4 goals and won in their ground. That's what Liverpool is about, what it should always be about.

I'm not afraid to disagree with people. I would think that's part of what a forum is about.

I want to win, I want more players of Mane's quality and to bring Suarez back someday. I want players the continental giants would love to have, but that can't be pried away from Liverpool. Only winning accomplishes that.

As well as his terrifying pace and finishing, that was what really stood out for me. He just did not let Arsenal rest on the ball for a second, in either half and was lightning quick onto any mistake. He was so important towards the end of the match too, some crucial interceptions and tackles that stopped them building up pressure. He's going to be a crucial player for us this season.

Must say I wasn't high on him when we bought him, but his displays so far have been magnificent. He's going to be a good one I reckon, brings so much to the table for us that we didn't have last year.
