Phew, just had to get a win before the break. Some great signs in attack, Harvey etc, continuing worrying signs in lack of control, being shit defensively etc that I'm not sure suddenly go away just because we have a break.

Would have been a lot less comfortable without Alisson. Dunno what happened in that second half but we conceded a lot of ground and they had some very good chances.

Nice way to head into the break. Plenty to be positive about with some impressive individual displays by Nunez, Elliott, Bobby, Robertson and Alisson. Confident going forward, but not fully convinced by our defending. Frustrating how many chances they got in the second half. Alisson was immense.

Shame about the Spurs result. I'm confident we'll gain ground on those above after the break and the likes of Diaz, Matip, Keita being back.

Alisson and Milner played well.
Our midfield ran out of legs in the 2nd half.

Penalty for us…..
Was Salah fouled - yes
Did it prevent Salah shooting - yes
Was it a penalty - yes

How on earth was the penalty not given as it was clearly a foul.

Anyway nice three points and we’ll pick it up again after the World Cup.

That’s how we used to do it. We controlled this from start to finish. A lot due to our goalscoring ability. Yes Alisson had to do some really good saves too, but it was when we had a two goal margin. Good to see goals from Nunez. He'll be a very good player for us. An important win. Now let's enjoy the World Cup and hope we can get Jota and/or Diaz fit again for when the PL is back.

Alhamdulillah. Feel it was really important to go into the WC break with a win. The second half could have been more comfortable, but Alisson though, wow.
Nunez keeps on getting better too. And Into the Top Six!

Feel hopeful of a top-four finish right now in'sha'allah. Whats everyone thinking?

Great result to end with, annoying that we gave some big chances away but very happy with the win. The lads not picked can rest up and as for those that are going to the World Cup we’ll pray they come back safely. Been a strange season so far, looked out of sorts for most but showing signs of life, I think we’ll be in the category of clubs that needed the break.

That 2nd half was not under control. We're making such heavy work of 2nd halves. Just appear to be gassed.
