We just need a point from 3 games to secure third, for anyone that was actually worried about it.

Soft as fuck. I'd be livid if that was us.

Wasn’t soft at all. It was a clear foul in real time and a clear fuck up from the ref not to give it on field.

There are nudges in the back like that at every set piece. Refs selecting the ones they want to call.

Obviously studs in the chest is still ok.

You cant just shoulder barge someone in the back as they're waiting for the ball to drop :lmao zero attempt to play the ball

If that's not a foul why dont players just do that when the balls in the air and they're about to go up for a header with someone
He barely touched him, the guy didn't even complain.

Just to be clear, if that's us (Villa) and someone does that to Robertson and they score you're saying we deserve that and it's a good decision?

Doesn't really take much to knock you off balance when you're hit from behind, player made ZERO attempt to play the ball. Again, if that's how it works, why ever go up for header with an opponent, just nudge them in the back

exactly.
I thought shoves in the back were allowed. Tsimika (Saka push) vs Arsenal , Trent (vs Newcastle shoved by A.Gordon) on the receiving end this season..

Not seen it but just read two pages of "soft foul", "never a foul" followed by "absolutely blatant foul," and "how has the ref not seen that in real time?"

Having VAR make subjective decisions is totally unworkable, only brings more controversy and takes away from what football is about.

It’s the subjective nature of which fouls get called out and which don’t that pisses people off.

Swear Brighton make up new players every week.

Anyway, looking forward to north London derby. Spurs will have a go and be interesting if Arteta goes for it or not - they’re better team, but wonder if he’ll set up like they did in Europe or against us/city.

Thought this weekend was gonna mean so much, shame its meaningless. Massive help to Arsenal today not to have the "in our hands" pressure on them though they'd rather it was obviously.

But meh, whos arsed, meaningless games probably decided by bent officials

We obviously got a shit goal yesterday in a nothing game but some of this luck in the biggest games would be really nice one year.
