Gave up floorless a few months ago. Was decent then (sounds like theres problems now) but there's better out there. Don't know why but a lot of people seem to stick with one provider for far too long. If it starts shitting the bed get out when your sub is up.

It takes about half an hour to find another one.

Everyone basically jumped from SM to FL so the authorities just switched their attention from one to the other. SM got that a FB page ain't the best idea and moved to a forum but wmthe damage was done by then. FL didn't learn from that mistake did they.

SM are still going strong though, yes you need a VPN but appear to have relatively few problems. The biggest issue there is the Bitcoin payments

I was one of the lucky ones to get a 6 month sub when the option of card payment opened up for a week.

And yeah it’s been rock solid.

As mentioned in those replies I use a Vader re seller. One thing I would add is that the device you use is very important. I have two boxes and the fire tv works way better than the minix box I sometimes have to use. As far as I know they develop the apps etc on shield and fire devices so that's what I would recommend.

Had it for about 14 months now and just deals with what I throw at it, no signs of slowing up.

Got a T95m I've had for about 16 months and it's on its arse now, locks up all the time and needs nursing to work, my Fire just works mostly, the odd reset now and again.

Gen 2 box btw.

I've used the fire tv box at the mother in laws...does seem solid. I used to only ever have a firestick and as good as it is for a little device it was pretty slow at times and even worse with terrarium tv.

Got the second gen shield now and it's a beast. The only slight drawback is that not all apps are on the store, so it can take some time getting it how you want it set up. But in terms of performance it's fucking lightning

Sportsmania aren't trying to sort out the VPN issue. In fairness it isn't there issue it's yours. ISPs are blocking you accessing there servers during EPL games.

their Facebook group has been swarmed by complaints again, your issue sounds exactly like the problems SM had around PPV events, it worked for some but not others etc. They kept denying their servers were overloaded too!

the fact it has double the RAM of the Firestick on its own makes it far superior for live streaming

I have never had a problem live streaming with the stick,it works just as well as my box.

Yeah SM was just the same wasn't it, one fight it would work sound for some but not for others then vice versa got the next one. Tbf I was chopping and changing channels on FL and my new sub between Kodi/PP/GSE as I had just set them up on them all earlier so wanted to see if they were all working. If I'd of left it on the one source it might of stayed on the whole fight? After their servers going down they did say they weren't up to full capacity yet so maybe that's why the servers struggled last night.

On Perfect Player the two subs join together in the channel listings which is dead handy.

Still using my T95m, works sound. Got another new box at Christmas but ended up keeping the T95m as the main box as it performed better. Need another one soon so think I will go for a fire TV next as no one ever has a bad word to say about them.

First gen sticks maybe but not the 2nd gen,if people are having problems streaming live tv with the 2nd gen then it is either the source or the software they're using.Also if people are looking to use wifi then there's no better value than the Stick because the cheaper box only have 2.4g wifi.

There was supposed to be a new higher end box on the way, sort of an Echo dot hybrid, I'd imagine that should have ethernet connectivity.

I just sacked Fless off as it was all getting a bit messy. Quite a lot of disruption which seemed to have been increasing lately and some of the responses in the support group were bolshy as fuck. I know there are lots of bells complaining all the time, but a lot of people arent as sussed up as others and some of the replies/info coming out were a bit snotty.

I got a 48hr pass somewhere else and it worked well for the boxing at the weekend, and the golf in full HD was very good, so as my Fless sub expires tomorrow I've transferred across. Service seems excellent so far, but then again so did Fless at first so we'll see.

These services which use private facebook groups as a way of organising etc.  I don't want to be on facebook, and have no intention of setting up an account for any reason.  In this situation, is there any other means of obtaining and paying for the service, or am I out of luck?  Getting fed up of the price of the sky sports on NowTV just for 1/2 matches a week I am interested in, and looking for a replacement so I can switch.
