Minutes of silence are REQUESTED by the home side. Same way we have it at Anfield every time a legend passes away / Hillsborough anniversaries. Almost 99% of the time the away side agrees to it and complies. Is it too much to ask for a moment of silence ?
And it's not like the moment of silence was for Tehran attack victims (Whom Saudis hate), it was for UK which is a brother state to Australia.
Do you think if there was a bombing in UAE, and this game was taking place in Riyadh and Saudis asked Aussie officials to hold a minute of silence for the victims, the Aussie team and players would refuse ? Would they fuck ?
