Hosni Mubarak free within 48 hours, claims lawyer

Just when you thought things couldn't get more fucked up...

What are the odds of the military reinstating Mubarak as interim President to piss off the MB even more.

doubt it. Muslim brotherhood are western backed puppets, just like Mubarak..which is why when the army got rid of MB, it was one in the eye for the US..

MB backed by the West?  :lmao

That's why the Army is receiving aid from the EU and US (both of are likely to be cut), and funnily enough, Saudi Arabia, is stepping in to fund the void left by the aid money disappearing. The same Saudi Arabia that were pissed off when Mubarak was deposed.

It must be a coincidence that Mubarak is being Freed today  ::)

This case was ended with a compromise between the state (under Morsi) and Mubarak's lawyers and today was just the confirmation of it.

He will still die in jail though because of several other cases, so there isn't even a worry about that.

That doesn't seem likely

Blast near Egypt interior minister's home wounds four: security sources

CAIRO | Thu Sep 5, 2013 5:03am EDT
(Reuters) - A blast near the home of the Egyptian interior minister in Cairo's Nasr City district injured at least four people, but the minister was not nearby at the time, three security sources told Reuters.

The cause of the blast, in an area just outside central Cairo, was not immediately clear, the sources said.

And that the rapists, whoever they are, are brought to justice.

Sadly, that does not seem to be the case.

The vigilante for rape has got that tell-tale bruise on his forehead, a sure sign of religious piety. Why am I not surprised?

Stupid idiots like these are the reason the country is going down the shitter.

There is a lot of challenges in the country, none of which the regime cares about.

So Y2J how is the situation in Egypt currently? Are you still happy that the government was overthrown? Serious question as I will like to know more on the political situation there.
