seems so I asked them could they give me any better seats and they said it was that block only, realistically they were never gonna give away decent seats to kids at half price

not sure about that. I've got superb seats exactly where we wanted with a child seat.

Our adult & child ticket that we got today is in block 112. Looks a decent view?

I was unsuccessful, absolutely gutted but looking at the positives, least I'll witness us back at Wembley with my granddad instead of being on me own in London, but yeah, devastated had a good feeling beforehand so was a bit shocked I didn't get one but fuck it, I'll take one for the FA Cup Final instead ;)

Bought my one ticket out of four memberships today. Looked on the Wembley site and it looks like a pretty good veiw, block 116 I think......gutted we can't go though; could never leave my lad behind and he's too young (13) to go in by himself which I would have happily done. Please don't PM me for the ticket as it's got a good home.....just a bit fed up now I've ordered it; would have been such a good day out.

7 out of 9 of us got tickets in the ballot and the ones who didn't are me and a mate. Totally gutted, doubt there'll be any spares knocking around and doubt the waiting list will be in with a shout. Still, we have had our flights from Glasgow  and hotel booked since few days after the semi, we'll both head down anyway and enjoy the day.

2 of 3 of us got sorted in the ballot - muggins was the unlucky one - but will be heading down to enjoy it, try and get a ticket, and if not watch it in a nearby pub :)

Horrible way to do it, but I bought 2 off touts at the LFC v Utd Carling Cup in Cardiff, was it 2001? Cost me £150 each ticket. They'll always be spares floating around. Best thing to do (if your head can take it...mine couldn't!) is to find the touts and hang around and buy after kick off. They'll be wanting to get rid asap as they won't want to have tickets and no money, even if it's break even.

Might end up trying that but I just hate touts, can't understand why any proper red would put more money onto a ticket for another red. I know most aren't proper fans and just want to make a quick profit but it sickens me

Everybody hates them and they're not fans. It's a business to them. It pays their way.

I went knowing I was going to spend an amount of money over the top and once I bought, that was it. I still had a great day, you've just gotta get beyond wanting to smack them!

Plenty still available online, you'd imagine anyone successful in the ballot would have snapped up theirs straight away so reckon a good few will get sorted from the waiting list, maybe 1500+.

You should smack them first and get your ticket + a few more for free ;)

I'd say there's a fair few more than 1500 considering the amount of blocks still available.

Bizarre that so many people would enter a ballot and then within a week decide not to go or have someone to sell to.

Not really when so many have said only one in their group got a ticket. Many would prefer to watch with mates than go on their own. Might even feel that going would be unfair on their mates.

And going in the ballot cost nothing. The reality of ticket plus travel plus hotel may be too much dough for some in these austere times.

I'd say there's a fair few more than 1500 considering the amount of blocks still available.

The whole of those blocks aren't available though. In many it's only single seats. If there were 10 in each block, it's only 100 tickets.

But that's only what's online - there will be more set aside for phones and windows which haven't been taken.

A number of people on the waiting list will get lucky but to say more than 1500 based on blocks left online is basically plucking a figure out of the air.

Just posted this in another thread, but is there not a full day left yet of the ballot winners sale? Because people are guaranteed a ticket through their selection in ballot may explain why it appears there are quite a few blocks left. Why rush when ins in sort of thing. I have just had a look and there is only 118 left on lower, but quite a few on upper. If there is a sale tomorrow for ballot winners, i expect most of these to be gone but hope for those on waiting list they get a shout of them. Im very disappointed that at least 3 people i know have bought their tickets with no intention to go for one reason or other, that those people will sell to people who will tout them or do it themselves.

On this note - I've got adult/child tickets in block 112/row 44 that I'd like to swap for two adult tickets (they can be singles but must be in a Liverpool block - I'll obviously cover any potential price difference)

I thought they did state that a number of tickets in each area will be available in each section of the sale?

It wouldn't sell out at this stage, would it.  Unless every single successful person in the ballot took up their option.  It was clear that many wouldn't if mates and/or family hadn't also been successful.

i see your logic barry but surely most would still get the ticket anyway and then pass on to a family/friend who crawl out of the woodwork when its final time ..i must admit im surprised that their seems to be still quite a few tickets left.

Surprised and excited though. If I can get one other ticket (1700 on the waiting list) I'll be fucking made up.
