They'd be fucking mental to sell Kane right now.

City, Arsenal, Liverpool, United, Chelsea and probably Newcastle and Villa are likely to finish above Spurs whether they sell Kane or not.

£100m buys a half decent cheese room these days.
"All the lads have been talking about is walking out in front of the Kop, with 40,000 singing 'You'll Never Walk Alone'," Collins told BBC Radio Solent. "All the money in the world couldn't buy that feeling," he added.

Had a nightmare last night that these were playing united in the champions league final and I was there watching. United were up 2 0 going into injury time and some spurs player hit a feeble long range shot that trickled miles wide. For some reason the score finished 5 0 such is the randomness of such dreams and united were celebrating. For a moment in the dream I had forgotten we were on 6 champions league wins but then realised we were 6 and they were now 4. However I still had this awful sick feeling.

Highly accurate from both a Spurs and a Manc POV.

He'll go on a free next summer to Chelsea probably.

Thought Levy was desperate to make sure he doesn't join another team in the league.

If he wanted to stay at Spurs he would have signed by now.

They had no choice and its the smart thing to do. Still, the shift of power in north london seems a pipe dream again.

If they sell Kane will the money be spent on reinforcements or on paying off the cheeseroom? Levy must be tempted to pay off a chunk of the mortgage, wipe out some of the overrun

Apparently he hasn't decided yet, I would have thought he would stay another year and then go where he wants next year. Going to bayern for a guaranteed bundesliga seems a bit meh to me.

He's 30 so he's got what another 3/4 years max? He's got 0 trophies to show for his entire professional career.

Sure he might get the all time premier league top scorer, but that will be broken eventually. He's winning nothing with spurs, at least a trophy he can have forever with Bayern.

the state of some of the pundits saying winning a trophy with bayern is meaningless. obviously they're massive favourites to win their league but it all depends on what kane contributes - if he scores a load of goals for them and makes the difference in the close games then how can that be meaningless? will probably be one of the favourites for the champions league, playing in front of big crowds every week, with pressure on him to hit the ground running - i don't think hes taking the easy option. fair play to him.
spurs shouldve got this sorted weeks ago though

Ill definitely be watching bundesliga , see if Kanes lack of football ability will be exposed alongside technical players.

Thought he'd go - pick up a couple of trophies then come back for two or three years and break the record when hes something like 37 with Stoke or another irrelevant club.

Said this previously, it’s all talk and good PR for him to look like super noble Harry Kane. Individual records are great but this is a team sport and he’ll be remembered for not winning anything
