Hope the injury for Thiago isn't too bad because we would then be getting into territory of Midfield being quite bare with injuries

We were terrible, absolutely looked like a team that wasn't ready for the start of the season.

Don't think i've seen so many aimless misplaced passes in my life. We played ourselves into trouble over and over and over again.

Trent was particularly woeful. Ball watching, no commitment on the goal, I don't think one of his crossfield passes found a man.

We were lucky with that draw.

Nunez was a real positive though.

We grew in to the game but we just looked off it. Annoying to be dropping points so early on, but we could have easily lost that. Darwin completely changed the game and Mo looked so much better out wide with the space.

Nothing wrong with that. I don’t think Fulham will play that well again this season, they fully deserved the draw.

Hopefully we get up to speed soon because we were dreadful in parts. Looked half asleep for most of it. Some strangely poor performances out there. Mitrovic bossed VVD.

Relieved to come away with a point, took us an hour to get going and overall the performance was really not good enough.

Credit to Fulham, they were organised and played with an energy that we were really lacking from the start. If we need a wake up call, which we shouldn't, hopefully this is it - hard to understand why we looked so off the pace today compared to the game against City last week. Big improvement needed moving forward.

Disappointing. Can’t say Fulham didn’t deserve anything but we were sloppy for large parts of the game. You know that’ll be Fulham’s best display of the season and when City face them they’ll score a tap in within five minutes and cruise to a comfortable victory.

Encouraging from Nunez and Elliot, too many off days elsewhere though.

Given how often we lose the title by one point these games matter unless we beat City twice.

Still in pre-season mode, all-round performance was poor. Milner and Nunez made a huge difference. The penalty was very soft, and if Mo won that, the media would have a field day. However, it was terrible defending by Virgil and a win was always going to be difficult after gifting them that opportunity just as our revival was starting.

Still, hit the woodwork twice.

The competition between ourselves and City is so close that this result feels worse than it actually is. A draw away on the opening game of the season against a promoted team isn't usually a bad result. Unfortunately, they were up for a fight and were good. They'll roll over for City.

Soft pen, but if it was the other end we’d be screaming for it tbf. All well and good going on about hitting the bar, but looked like keeper got a finger to Henderson’s shot at the end, if the ball had been any lower he’d have saved it anyway.

Definitely didn’t deserve to win on that performance.

Disappointing. We managed to get a point and our expected main goalscorers scored. Fulham were the ones with the energy and we looked asleep. We wasted 45 minutes where we were sloppy just about everywhere on the pitch. Fortunately Nunez and Salah did what they are here to do - score. Unlucky for Henderson near the end. Would have been great with a goal there, but in all honesty we didn’t deserve three points today.

The goals aside, that was really poor and had the hallmarks of a side just expecting to need to show up in order to win. This week's "pen" won't be one next week. Then again Madley let all sorts go throughout (wild tackles in the first ten minute; dives galore at the end).
