I personally don't think he's had some sort of great realisation, I just think we're seeing a fit and motivated Sturridge.
The guy is, and always has been, one of our better players when he's fully fit. I think he's come back from his most recent injury, remotivated after his summer break, and it's showing in his performances. He's surrounded by great players, in a squad that is fun to be in (which is clearly something he thrives on) and with a manager who is a great individual motivator and clearly rates Sturridge as a player.
