Darren from Thetford defended Hodgson didn't he? I'm all for everyone being allowed an opinion but you needed to be a bad prick to defend Hodgson at that point.

At the time I didn't live close to Thetford but now do. Having been there I can understand why Darren may have held such extreme views. The forest there is good though. Remember someone on here years ago mentioning they had some sort of sexual encounter in Thetford Forest.

Anyway, back on topic. Roy Hodgson was a self serving spiteful old knob and probably still is a self serving spiteful old knob. Beyond Liverpool winning the league and Everton being relegated my 3rd wish this season is for Hodgson to take Palace down. Shame we've already played Palace at home and we can't give him some shit.

Whereas the unacceptable comment, was a throwaway line to transition (like they did many times that evening) away from Hodgson.

Was it only 30 minutes as well? Bit odd to not go for an hour in a rare interview. What were you going to air? "This is blank and your watching Lfctv' You own the network!

I used to love him as he would start every sentence with  -Absolutely!
