That was some break by Murphy in the circumstances, and some bottle shown.

And then fluffs a safety first shot of the next frame. Frustrating

Been good stuff this. I'm a Selby fan.. Not everyone's cup of tea I know. Some of the fans in there though are gobshites just trying to be heard on telly when they watch it back. Some clearance from Murphy that last frame.

That was some break by Murphy in the circumstances, and some bottle shown.

Followed 5 minutes later with a very poor safety shot on the red to let Selby in with a great chance to put the frame to bed.

That's been Murphy's problem, he can't seem to string 2 of 3 wins together. Luckily for Sean, Selby's break to an unexpected end at 40....still 40-0 up though.

Wow..what a frame that was, brilliant shots by both players and unexpected misses. 16-13

Needs to follow it and win the next frame, he's only won 2 frames on the bounce once all match.

Final session, with Virgo and Hendry thankfully on comms! Virgo seems to have toned it down lately and much better for it.

Yep, and it’s going to cost him the title I’m afraid.

Not a fan of Selby, but I do have a grudging admiration for his meticulous and metronomic style.

He gets a lot of stick but given how good Murphy has been potting this week, Selby has been a class above. Brilliant snooker there. Takes on a tactical game, wins it obviously and smashes a century. Brilliant

Idiot.

Very harsh, if he’d played safe he might never have got a better chance to pot it. Actually think it was a reasonably easy pot. Respect him for trying to make it happen, he knows Selby wouldn’t give it to him so take it on.

He's the snooker equivalent of Simeone's Atletico. Bags of talent but with an awful style of play.

The lesser dickhead wins
If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.

If you don’t get Selby beat in the first round you’re struggling. He just doesn’t have a bad session, so it puts a lot of pressure on to be flawless.
