He blew before he could shot.

I think what WAP means if Taylor doesn't blow, they couldn't disallow it. Taylor knew this, so he's blown the whistle to ensure the goal could not stand. He's a fucking cheat

He isn't that bad at his job though. He is an elite referee who has just been selected for the Euro's. He is the top of the tree as far as Referees go. He did last year's Europa League final and he was the first referee for a century to get a second FA Cup final.

He’s an elite referee in the sense that managing at this level de facto makes you one, he’s not in any kind of rational interpretation of the word.

Graham Poll refereed at 2 world cups and at at least one euros.

He’s fucking shite, as are most of them, he’s just better than some of the truly terrible ones.

Not sure what him fasting has to do with any of it, but carry on

I haven't much liked him since 2022 when he bent the club over a barrel with his new contract despite poor form after AFCON. And now his form has turned to shit again he's publicly throwing a tantrum at Klopp instead of doing what is best for the club and his body.

Not to mention, I don't care much for him and his Trump-supporting agent as people. One of our greatest players, but that doesn't make him someone to support unconditionally.

Nobody knows what Klopp said to Salah before getting mad, but here we are, with the pitchforks out and calling him all sorts of names.

Jet fuel can't melt steel beams...

The club simply has to make a formal complaint and ask for the audio. If that was a player who did something like that they would be investigated for match fixing. It was that bad.
I completely agree. That picture of the refs in the far east with their ‘lady friends’ becomes more and more suspicious with every game.

So are the "non-elite"  ::) players allowed to behave like this or that's when you'll actually be honest and admit it's unacceptable regardless of the player's quality ?
If Salah is "elite" he is so only because Klopp built the entire team around him, to make him the focal point, the center of every attack. That's why he's the top scorer. Not because he somehow beat teams on his own while being surrounded by rubbish players.

Why are people so sure of this? I know it's all doom and gloom right now, but Liverpool are still one of the best teams in Europe, and really just need a high class DM and one more good finisher. The new coach and reintroduction of Edwards et. al. could lead to lots of success. He is settled here, and so is his family.

Because if he does this disrespectful shit to Klopp how do think he's gonna behave when he's out of form and Slot benches him?

Looks like his legs are gone, same with Mane. There's 0% he's getting a new contract with Edwards and he won't be let go for free. He's gone this summer.

But if they get charged and thrown out the League then the whole brand is fucked.
It's fucked now, but no one will admit it. The 'brand' is a joke. Credibility compromised then dragged through the mud.

If they are held to account and thrown out of the league, the brand is being protected. No one would miss them. They were a yo-yo club of no marks before being sportswashed. It's not like they're a big name or anything.

Spurs spend a lot more than us though. If we get the usual FSG ultra-conservatism (for a club of our size) this summer, then I think it would be harsh to judge the new manager if it’s top six rather than top four. If you look at what we spend in comparison to those around us, we continue to over-perform dramatically under Klopp.
Daniel Levy is well known for his lavish spending.
